Alternative Energy Youtube Videos of Dan and Denise Rojas May Be Gorilla Advertising

by Winsip Custer CPW News Service

Dan and Denise Rojas of Tampa, Florida showed the difficulty of capturing alternative energy sources, not the ease of it, says Felix H. Watson of 3G LLC.   "Their on-line Youtube videos appear to be helpful resources for those wanting to go green, but are they?" asked Watson.
Reliant Energy, Siemens and other energy providers see the value in grass roots internet videos that appear straight forward and reliable, but actually put a damper on do-it-yourself energy engineers.  Both Reliant and Siemens advertise on the Rojas videos.

Watson, an advertising analyst for the non-profit conservation organization Green Glow Go LLC, also known as 3G, expressed concern that the planet's move to "go green" is being thwarted by what he calls "gorilla advertising tactics of the major fossil fuel flippers."   He believes that they are underwriting backyard greenie entrepreneurs who appear to be conservation minded, but who in reality are selling the exact opposite of what they appear to be endorsing.  "In the world of politics and espionage they call it counter-intelligence.  Sometimes it's an elaborate, but nearly undetectable means of misinformation and it can undermine genuine progress of nearly any grass roots movement," said Watson who expressed concern after seeing one of Dan and Denise Rojas' Youtube videos.  "Dan had all kinds of trouble trying to make a simple solar water heater for his wife to shower with and believe me if I was married to Denise I'd have had that shower constructed in minutes just so that she could have the shower she desired and promised."

Dan and Denise Rojas
"Hi.  I'm Denise Rojas and you're going to watch me take a shower," says Dan's buxom wife on their early video.  "The videos are as hot on the internet as the solar panels, parabolic mirrors and solar steam generators that they review, but are they also advertising revenue makers for the Rojas' and for the companies like Reliant Energy, Siemens and other mega-corporations?" asked Watson.
"Here's the message that I get from this video," said Watson.  "If you want to get into the shower with someone as beautiful as Denise, then you'd best stick with Reliant Energy's gas and coal fired reliability."

  2. Albina N Muro, thank you for your comment. I have never been to Indonesia, but would love to visit sometime. I know that a jet flight takes, what?, twenty hours? On second thought I may just stay here in Montana and dream of solar powered showerings.
