MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD HAD NO PART IN SPARKING EGYPT'S REVOLT
by Winsip Custer CPW News Service
With tears in his eyes the Google executive on leave of absence from his job, helped to ignite the passion of 85,000 Egyptians who recently took their country back from Hosni Mubarak.
Like Hussein before him and like the Shah of Iran before that, the predominantly Muslim Egyptians moved relentlessly against the 30-year dictator and his security forces. Their message? "You can kill us if you want to, but you will not get Egypt back. The time for negotiating if over."
Unlike Iraq and Iran, however, there will be no Ayatolla and no dictator like Hussein or Mubarak. The nation will be led by its own self-selected, freely selected leaders. As CIA agent, Robert Baer, has said "As goes Egypt so goes Islam." A brilliant light has broken into the darkness. Now it may shine into the dark corners of the First World's democracies, who also according to Baer, have used Mubarak and the fear of the Muslim Brotherhood to repress and control for the sake of self-interests.
