Muammar Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi's son, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, appeared on Libyan National Television to announce that the recent shooting of peaceful demonstrators was a result of the police and military's inexperience in handling peaceful demonstrations. "With no experience in such matters we just shot the protesters instead of wasting a bunch of time trying to restrain them. What we did here was not that much different than the U.S.'s Ohio National guard at Kent State," said Saif Al-Islam as he began singing "tin soldiers and Nixon coming."
Meanwhile, the protesters continued shouting in the streets in Arabic "no more mole, no more mole, no more purple pj's, no purple pj's." This led to a tightening of Saif Al-Islam's resolve to provide payback for the insults to his father's manhood. "We will fight back with our last ounce of blood," said Muammar and his son Saif.
