B4U-ACT, DSM and DR. FRED BERLIN

Johns Hopkins Pedaling Backwards Over Pedophilia Conference

by Winsip Custer CPW News Service

This August, prior to the Sandusky scandal at Penn State, Johns Hopkins University held a conference in Baltimore with keynote speaker, Dr. Fred Berlin, the director of the Johns Hopkins’ Sexual Behavior Consultation Unit which is seeking to decriminalize pedophilia.  Criticism of the event was so universal that Johns Hopkins issued a statement seeking to control the damage.  It read:

"Statement regarding Johns Hopkins faculty member’s participation in Aug. 17 B4U-ACT conference
There has been significant misinformation circulating about Fred Berlin, M.D., Ph.D., director of Johns Hopkins’ Sexual Behavior Consultation Unit, and his recent participation at a conference in Baltimore.
As an international expert in sexual disorders, Dr. Berlin speaks routinely at conferences in his role as an individual and as an expert in these matters. In this role, Dr. Berlin speaks for himself, and not as a representative of Johns Hopkins. Dr. Berlin is unequivocally opposed to any sexual actions between adults and children. In no way does he advocate pedophilia, but rather he believes in getting appropriate help for people attracted to minors in order to prevent them from acting on their impulses. He argues that a distinction should and must be made between individuals with pedophilia who act on their attractions and those who are attracted to minors but refrain from acting on their predilections.
Dr. Berlin believes much of the information reported about the conference has been significantly distorted. Statements made by others in attendance should not be construed as representing the views of Dr. Berlin or Johns Hopkins. He was very clear in his remarks to all who were in attendance how important it is to make every possible effort to prevent the sexual abuse of children."

Dr. Botalio Z. Zumafomalo of the Institute for the Study of Subjugation of Cultures, believes that pedophilia, like rape and other forms of deviate sexual oppression is a tool of one culture used to subjugate another.  “We have seen it time and again in many different cultures across the globe.  Pedophilia like rape is a tool of intimidation and control. It is nowhere more clearly seen than in the Penn State and Franklin Coverup scandals, but the underlying motives prompting these absurd behaviors are clearly related,” said Dr. Zumafomalo.
A recovered pedophile himself, Zumafomalo,  a citizen of Zanzibar, Africa, said “I was not fully recovered until I was sentenced to run a gauntlet of my victims.  They whipped me with flogging tools that ripped my skin and delivered the pain that I was seeking to begin with through my deviant actions.  At first it felt good and I rejoiced in the pain, but after three hours of flogging I came to my senses.  Is this condition a mental disorder?   You have to look long and hard to find any culture that embraces it historically.  I perceived myself as weak and powerless and I needed to control little people to feel that I was important.  Beneath my hardened exterior was a little weasel of a wimpy person who felt like a worm,” he said.
Zumafamalo believes that Baltimore, Maryland is a center of American cultural imperialistic visioning as evidenced by its links to the Westward subjugation of America’s indigenous peoples.  He admits that this is not unique to the United States, but to all cultures that seek to subjugate another.
“When the Texas Revolution was in full swing the Indian fighter, newspaper man, historian and politician, John Henry Brown, appealed to the Roman Catholic Bishops of Baltimore to send English speaking Roman Catholic priests to the region to help keep the Spanish speaking population from converting the poor Irish settlers to the Mexican side.  And who did the Bishops send?  The same ones they send today.  The exiled pedophile priests who would say….”give me a boy until he’s seven and he’s mine for the rest of his life,” said Zumafamalo.
Zumafamalo believes that Penn State coach Joe Paterno’s connections to Brown University have a direct link to the Baltimore Catholic Bishops, to Johns Hopkins, to the family of Alexander Brown of Brown Brothers Harriman who would employ Prescott Bush, father of George Herbert Walker Bush, to the imperialism and militarism instilled in the American Military Industrialist Complex.  Brown and Root, KBR and other suppressive and expansionist organizations that date back to the early development of the United States are part of this senario.  “This is part of the problem that President Dwight D. Eisenhower warned against and that General Smedley Butler faced head on with his book War is A Racket,” said Zumafamalo.
Zumafamalo pointed out that Baltimore was the staging site for the test case in the Fugitive Slave Laws with the capture of James Hamlet who worked at Baltimore’s Brown owned Merchants’ Shot Tower making musket balls for the Browns.   “That, too, was about oppression,” said Zumafamalo noting that historians have completely avoided showing  "the connection between radical abolitionist John Brown and Alexander Brown of Baltimore and progenitor of the 'National City Bank Boys' that Smedley Butler refused to shower with after spending years as their goon," said Zumafamalo.
Zumafamalo noted that the Penn State scandal and Franklin Coverup scandal in Omaha go straight to the heart of the bigger problem.  “This past summer 37 Roman Catholic priests were identified as pedophiles in the Philadelphia diocese.  In the 1840’s they’d have been sent to the frontier as agents of culture subjugation, domination and change and there are obviously some in the dominant culture who still value and protect this practice or we would not have had the Penn State and Omaha scandals,” said Zumafamalo who noted that as long as the victimizers deliver a winning team....church, school or nation....people deny the problem exists.  "I think that the establishment of a world-wide law against child abuse is impossible.  Has a law against rape abolished rape?  Running the gauntlet, however, is a part of the healing process if the pedophile survives it," said Zumafamalo.
