On October 9, 2010 homely porno star, Ron Jeremy, appeared at the San Diego church of Sarah Palin ghost writer, Lynn Vincent and 2009 Miss America, Carrie Prejean to discuss the pros and cons of porn.

"The face-off between porn king Ron Jeremy & anti-porn crusader Craig Gross was an eye-opening evening for everyone in the packed sanctuary. Pastor Miles served as the moderator for the evenings debate between the 2 friends as they discussed whether pornography is a harmless industry or a destructive addiction," read the Rock Church's internet home page.

The church was thankful that Mr. Jeremy agreed not to sign CD's of his films after the event in the church narthex, though he was seen to be signing a few in the church parking lot.

Pastored by former NFL football player, Miles McPherson, the event prompted the Kansas City Church of the Unsingable Hymns to follow suit with a similar program of outreach and enlightenment titled... The Great Rating Game: A Twelve Hour Marathon of Community Standards Violations and How To Recognize Them.

"People brought bed rolls to the sanctuary which was packed to capacity in the 2500 seat auditorium. We had free pop corn and sodas for everyone. We began with the earliest examples of community standard violations and we pummeled the fallacious arguments that deemed these works of art or smutty decadence and as unacceptable or acceptable depending on your point of view. A group of Southern Baptists picketed the church sanctuary, but other than that the event went off without a hitch," said Reverend Ian Letchers. "Next week we are debating the pros and cons of suicide terrorist bombing and members of Al Qaeda have agreed to be present to take up the pro side," said Reverend Letchers.
