Impossible Odds Indeed

Vinny “Best Bookie” Scarpa was not a religious man. “Nope.
Left church after Father Frank tried to disrobe me in the vestry when I was an altar boy holding my little taper.”
Scarpa has changed his tune, however, after figuring the odds
on the strange convergences …..the impossible odds…..of Jessica Buchanan’s
rescue from Somalia pirates hours before President Obama’s January 25th,
2012 State of the Union address.
“This girl came from Cincinnati and graduated from Valley
Forge University in Phoenixville, Pa. . You can't get any more American and up-from-the-ashes than that!
Her home church was an Assembly of God Church, York Cavalry Temple. More importantly she was a teacher at Rosslyn
Academy….a name forever associated with the Knights Templars and the Priory of
Sidon in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a
Sicilian, my ancestors were Maltese Knights…..meaner than snakes in heat…..and
thankful that the assets of the Knights Templars had been given to them by the
Pope with the expulsion of the Templars from the Holy Land and its trade routes who hightailed it to France and
Scotland. In this new global battle against
Islam, we are delighted that all the historic imagery associated with Christian
crusaders came together in Jessica’s rescue and that the SEAL Team 6 was the
sword point,” said Scarpa. "This rescue should do as much to unify us against the threat of radical Islam as the Cold War did to unite us against Godless Commies," said Scarpa who added...."The Cincinnati Society of Washington D.C., the same name as Jessica's birthplace is the oldest patriotic organization in the United States. "
“I estimate that the odds of all this coming together for
Jessica, for SEAL TEAM 6 so soon after the killing of Osama Bin Laden and just
before Obama's State of the Union address was about 4 or 5 trillion to 1,” said Scarpa who was on his way to holy communion at St. Patrick's Cathedral before attending a praise service at Free Will Assembly of God Fellowship near Fort Bliss.
