Baltimore Blonde Brings Spotlight to General Smedley Butler's National City Bank Boys and Brown Brothers Harriman

     Perhaps Edgar Allen Poe was Baltimore's most famous poet, his raven becoming the mascot of the Baltimore Ravens football team, but historically Baltimore's most powerful business figure was Alexander Brown, progenitor of Alex Brown & Company, Brown Brothers Harriman which morphed into Brown & Root, Kellogg Brown & Root or KBR that has become as conspicuous on the world's U.S. battlefields as Blackwater Security in Iraq in 2003. 
     "I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912," said two-time Congressional Medal of Honor winner, General Smedley Darlington Butler, who was asked to lead a fascist coup in the U.S. in the 1930's before he wrote his book War Is A Racket.  Butler declined, but by 1947 with the U.S. intelligence apparatus importing Reinhard Ghelen and his Operation Paperclip Nazis into the mix and the Nazis won the peace.  That "peace" continues to mask the racket of war. 
     What evolved in the Nicaragua that Butler "purified" was Anastasio Samoza of whom FDR said "He's a son-of-a-bitch, but he's our son-of-a-bitch."  That, of course, led in time to Samoza's National Guard recorded by an ABC cameraman murdering in cold blood an ABC newsman, Bill Stewart, in 1980, Samoza's exile to the U.S., the rise of the Sandinistas, Iran-Contra, and a wayward clustered assemblage of cross-copulating foreign policy blunders.
    "That's right," said Fabian Colbachi a freelance journalist working from his temporary office in Costa Rica.  "Butler and Brown and Baltimore bring together the history that most Americans have been denied. These Browns are modern Visigoths, having hung from Jean Lafitte's ship yard arm for raiding fellow Americans in Louisiana.  They largely led the Texas Navy, dug the Houston/Galveston Ship Channel, built naval bases for LBJ and will deny that Brownsville was named for their own and that they were an integral part of the "National City Bank Boys" for whom Butler said "I was a goon on three continents".  You don't want to be on the wrong side of their wrath when they turn on their own as Lafitte showed they would do before the privateering buccaneer disappeared from modern history.   FDR, however, you must never forget, was a New England Brahman insider of the Delano clan which was as steeped in the China Trade as the Browns, Huntingtons, Cushings and Russells.  Eleanor Roosevelt was from Savannah, Georgia and was in lock-step with the Roosevelt and Delano family ambitions which was the South's eastern Atlantic terminus for their envisioned transcontinental railroad from Savannah to Southern California across the flat Southwest.  With Caleb Cushing holding the paint palet Savannah, Georgia disappeared like Jean Lafitte from  the picture.  Southern California shifted to San Francisco while the Union plopped the future U.S. Marine and SEAL base on top of the South's envisioned Pacific rail terminal, San Diego.  This was the hidden motive for the U.S. Civil War that our historians will not cover at all.  Finally, Lowell P. Wigglesworth has unveiled the story through the letters of Jefferson Davis, Ulysses S. Grant and William Tecumseh Sherman.  Winsip Custer covered Wigglesworth's findings nicely in his April 2016 article, Tracks II.  
     When Smedley Butler blew the whistle on the American fascists "business plot" in the 1930's the fact that the plot was also well hidden at the time from public view indicated that FDR had managed this explosive story as the world headed toward another war, World War II.   The import into the U.S. of former Nazis through Operation Paper Clip after WWII showed that the fascist element in the U.S. had not disappeared.
     The Brown's big kahuna was Alexander Brown and when you realize that Baltimore was the primary opium cutter ship building center on the Atlantic coast you can see just where his fortunes originated so much coming into focus about which your beloved history teachers and professors hadn't a clue. Either that or they and you by association were high enough up the food chain where, as Flannery O'Connor assured us "whatever rises must converge" that he or she were one of the close knit insiders like that group of myth-spinners who "purified" the next generation by keeping it far from reality of history....Walter Prescott Webb, Walter Lee Brown, Shelby Foote, Frank Vandiver and perhaps even Yale's maker of the American canon of literature whose favorite author, Cormac McCarthy, chanted the U.S. mantra...."War IS god."
     Opium cutters needed lead grape shot and canon balls, or better yet, a protective navy like that the Brits used in the 17th, 18th and first thirty years of the 19th century to insure the sovereignty of the seas for the British East India company's China trade ventures before the U.S. power elites took over.  After the War of 1812 the naval power balance shifted to the U.S. and what followed was Caleb Cushing's trip to China to negotiate the Brits right out of the saddle.  At Baltimore's Brown's Merchant Shot Tower the first slave to flee to the North to be returned under the draconian Fugitive Slave Laws, James Hamlet, was making musket balls.   Musket balls like Flint, Michigan's lead pipes or like the Dutch Boy lead house paint that was made in Baltimore by the family of Scott Shuger who wrote after 911 the article for Bill Gate's online magazine Slate.com that sent shock waves through the aviation community titled IGNORAD.  Winsip Custer has written a fine article titled "The House In the Middle Should Have Been the Houses on the Ends" that covers nicely the place of the U.S. military and the National Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association's magazine, STIR, edited by George W. Bush's Yale classmate, Michael Melville Wood, that had been as influential in selling the "Little Dutch Boy's" lead house paint as "Joe Camel" was in selling cigarettes to children for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and for R.J. Reynolds whose primary stock holders were Gordon Gray and his son, C. Boyden Gray, the Bush family lawyer.
     In Baltimore the famous abolitionist orator during the Civil War, Frederick Douglass, had laid the hulls of some of the fastest opium clippers for names like Heard, Huntington, Cushing and Russell.  In Boston the leading opium traders, John Perkins Cushing and Caleb Cushing, helped to set U.S. drug policies that were the unspoken motive for our Civil War according to outspoken historian, Lowell P. Wigglesworth, and that undergirded the endless war on drugs that exists to this day. The abolitionist preacher, John Brown, was funded by the lead miner/investor in Cushing's Boston, George Luther Stearns. 
     The racket of war was in full swing in Boston and Baltimore and continues to be.  From the Boston Fruit Company came the United Fruit Company that bought the bananas of Nicaraguan dictator Samoza whose business partners were GWB's Yale classmates Neal and Linden Blue whose General Atomics in San Diego makes the Reaper and Predator drones and from Baltimore Alex Brown & Co. would continue to influence American life right up to the present as it had done with Smedley Butler in the 1930's.  Neal Blues' wife, the former "mayor of the San Diego Navy base" is now the Chief Operating Office of San Diego," said Colbachi.
    Consider Molly Shattuck the Baltimore Raven's cheerleader who was convicted in 2014 of raping a 15 year old boy.  Molly was the ex-wife of Mayo Shattuck who had been a top executive with Alex Brown & Company when he was raising money for a company called Microsoft owned by Bill Gates, the man who employed Scott Shuger the author of IGNORAD and who wrote for Gate's Slate.com.    Gate's father was the attorney representing the company that makes the scanning equipment and software in nearly every retail store.   Shuger died in a witness-less scuba diving accident in California in June 2002 a year after 911 and four months after writing IGNORAD about the botched U.S. security response to 911.

     In 1991 Mayo Shattuck would become second in command at Alex Brown & Co. to Alvin Bernard "Buzzy" Krongard.  In 1991 Krongard would be appointed Executive Director of the CIA by George Tenet and Krongard would stay at that post until he was removed by the new CIA Director, Porter Goss, in 2004.  This meant, obviously, that Krongard was at the CIA right across the 1992 stand down order that stopped the serious investigation into Saudi influence peddling in the U.S. called FINCEN, the 911 attack and the invasion of Iraq based on what Zbigniew Brzezinski told his daughter Mika Brzezinski on the television show Morning Joe was  "a bamboozle" based on "absolutely false evidence".  FINCEN was the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network that could have snagged the Saudi money sources that became the classified 28 pages of the Official 911 Report that was withheld from the U.S. citizenry for fifteen years after 911 with no justifiable "national security" rationale for withholding them.  Shattuck's former boss at Alex Brown & Co, Krongard, had led the CIA contracting with Blackwater Security a move that backfired with Blackwater's growing record of civilian killings.  Convicted New York Police Commission, Bernie Kerik, had been in Iraq overseeing security in 2003 before being suggested by GWB as the best choice for Homeland Security Director.   It was independent contractor killings in Iraq that led U.S. Army Col. Theodore "Ted" Westhusing to confront General David Petraeus in the Green Zone in 2005 with the corruption that Westhusing, the U.S. Military Academy's top ethicist at West Point, New York had experience there.  Westhusing's life story became the first chapter of Christian T. Miller's book Blood Money.

    Unlike Krongard, who was number three at CIA, Petraeus didn't last long as the CIA Director.  The Washington Post's Metro-Editor, Vernon Loeb, who had overseen the propagandized cover stories of Pat Tillman and Jessica Lynch had joined author, Paula Broadwell, to write All In: The Education of General David Petraeus.  It was the education of a lifetime and a very costly one for Petraus and his family!  Loeb would move from the Washington Post to the Houston Chronicle in the world's petro-chemical engineering capital of the world and home to major sulfur and lead producers, National Lead Company and Freeport-McMoran Sulfur.
     Krongard's right hand man at Alex Brown & Co. before Krongard went to the CIA, Mayo Shattuck, was largely responsible for leading Maryland into the utility deregulation like that manipulated by Houston's Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling of Enron out in California.  As CEO of Constellation Energy Shattuck oversaw in 2008 its drop from a stock price of $107 to $13 and paid himself nearly $16 million in 2010 as compensation for his leadership.  Ken Lay had been appointed to George W. Bush's energy cabinet and was considered as Bush's top choice for Energy Secretary.  Had Molly Shattuck learned to rape a 15 year old from her ex-husband who had raped the Maryland citizenry by raising the utility rate 72% in a year on the promise that free markets would push prices down?  Perhaps, but Shattuck had an excellent instructor in Krongard who was also at the CIA when Gen. Colin Powell sold the nation on the invasion of Iraq with the phony discovery of yellow cake uranium according to Colbachi and when Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld owned the "Misery Plantation" near Baltimore where Frederick Douglass, also known as Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey, had worked in the Gardner Shipyard according to Professor Emeritus of Archeology at University of California, Chino and author of  the 1999 book Voyage of the Frolic: New England Merchant's and the Opium Trade from Stanford University Press, Dr. Thomas Layton.      
     Frederick Douglass had been "renditioned" at the "Misery Plantation" in the 19th Century before being returned under the Fugitive Slave Laws to the South.  Rumsfeld, an apparent collector of interesting historical places would, at the same time, co-own the Tecolote Ranch in Las Vegas, New Mexico with celebrated CBS news anchor from Houston, Dan Rather. Rather and his CBS Producer, Mary Mapes, had been responsible for not telling the nation the facts of George W. Bush's Texas Air National Guard story in 2000 when they first had the story in hand from Texas politician Ben Barnes.   When Mapes and Rather  did tell the story which would have been easily collaborated in 2000 by Marian Carr Knox and General Belasario Flores, Mapes and Rather botched the so badly that it provided the Bush cabal with Prescott's ties to Brown Brothers Harriman and to Hitler's banker, Fritz Thyssen, and Union Bank, and with Prescott Bush, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth Kauffman Bush's ties to the Nazi-sympathetic Duke and Duchess of Windsor of the German/British Saxe-Gotha-Coburgs, Wallis Spencer Simpson Windsor, costing the U.S. a devastating second George W. Bush term before the 2008 financial meltdown.  
     Then followed Barack Obama and wife, the former Michelle Robinson, both of whom had worked in the Springfield, Illinois law firm of Sidley Austin which would merge in 2000 with Brown & Wood, the historic New York law firm tied to National City Bank and Alex Brown & Co.  and which had just move into the World Trade Center losing only one of its 600 employees on 911 while "Buzzy" Krongard, Shattuck's former boss, was associated with an investment firm that dumped American Airline Co. stock days before the attack.
      "Look," said Colbachi, "Alex Brown of Baltimore helped to fund nearly every U.S. military excursion of the 19th and 20th centuries.  They know well how America goes to war.  You work around this crowd and you better become like Smedley Butler or an earlier war-time prophet, Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Winner turned journalist, muck-raking, pit bulldog, Henry Van Ness Boynton, or perhaps like a Dietrich Bonhoeffer or Hans and Sally Scholl or Peter Niemoeller or Scott Shuger, because the really  bad guys aren't far removed from the ethics of Adolf Hitler, just more evasive and surgical in hiding their crimes.   Soon you will find that when you didn't stand up for those who have disappeared you will be next," said Colbachi.
     "God knows Samoza wasn't far off the Hitlerian ethic....and he was our kind of son-of-a-bitch.  Molly Shattuck's rape of a 15 year old may be every 15 year old's dream come true, but the judge didn't think so, nor the boy's parents," said Colbachi, "and what sounded good to Maryland and California energy users when they were being told about the savings they would receive from a deregulated energy market?  It left them mad as hell at Enron's California PR people and needing a rape kit the morning after," said Colbachi.
    Colbachi noted that Shattuck's fund raising included not only Microsoft, but also funding for Seagrams Co. with its close ties to Blackstone Group and even the Carlyle Group.   "In Michigan these guys were investing like companies like Nestles or companies like Reddy Ice," said Colbachi, "and Reddy Ice made about half a billion dollars from frozen water, declared bankruptcy after being judged a price setting monopolist.  Well, Carlyle Group and Seagrams don't buy losers and Reddy Ice has been making hefty profits off of the ice it sells in places like Flint, Michigan, along with bottled water from Nestles that sucks hundreds of gallons of water per minute from the aquifer feeding Lake Huron while Flint was diverted to the Flint River's water pushed through lead pipe that we knew in the 1920's was a brain killer and then there's Coca-Cola.  Coke adds high fructose corn syrup to its added-value water products," said Colbachi. "And from there all you have to do is look at Bolivia's water wars with Bechtel, the San Francisco company of former U.S. Secretary of State George Schultz whose testimony at the Iran-Contra hearings kept things from moving to an impeachment of a sitting U.S. President and Vice-President, when he said that secret wars against our neighbors was not something taken from our high school civics classes and for which we should be ashamed," said Colbachi further illuminating U.S foreign policy hypocrisy.  "Ashamed?   Not till you remember to read Edwin Black's book War Against the Weak to see the marriage of  Alex Brown to the E.H. and Mary Harriman families," said Colbachi.
     "What you'll miss from your high school civics and advanced U.S. history classes in American colleges is the fact that while Enron was raping California consumers like Shattuck was doing in Maryland,  the California Governor was Gray Davis, the grandson of William Rhodes Davis, the subject of Dale Harrington's book William Rhodes Davis: Nazi Agent of Influence.  William Rhodes Davis was Hitler's oil man in Texas.  Did you hear that from your teachers or the top journalists... Steve Coll or Jeff Leen at the Washington Post or from their chief propagandist, Vernon Loeb, now at the Houston Chronicle in Enron's hometown, also home to Ambassador to the U.S. forward military bases in the Middle East in Qatar, Chase Untermeyer, who told us that the first USN Seal was baptized alongside his godparents, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor whom FDR and Churchill had exiled to the Bahamas during WWII for being Nazi spies?  Did you hear it from Steve Weinberg the longtime head of IRE, Investigative Reporters and Editors or from any product of Weinberg's ivy towered myth-machine at the University of Missouri that's not unlike Dumbledore Steve Coll's Columbia University where he is the Henry Luce Professor of Journalism?  Don't hold your breath," said Colbachi.  "you won't hear it from them nor from their mimicking minions like Melissa Click," said Colbachi.

    "You can see the obvious connections to the world's oil cartel led by the biggest oil companies whose fortunes depended on automobiles like Henry Ford made widely available to travel across tax-paid roads and for which Harvey Firestone supplied the rubber tires," said Colbachi.  "Alex Brown's fortunes were tied to the same empire," said Colbachi who said that he read that when the Pope heard that Copernicus and Galileo posited that the earth was not the center of the universe he went into a deep depression and started plotting an inquisition.  But for the sinking of the Spanish armada that inquisition would have been visited on England whose bastardly Queen Elizabeth said "If it were for Kent all the English would have long ago gone over to the Spanish."  What did Kent add to the mix?  Ask that question of Churchill who for all of his loathing of Ghandi had grown up there and could not shake off his agonizing suspicions that democracy was ordained as the best of all options.  Gavelkind law that Kent embraced rejected the law of primogeniture that the Bush and Saudi royals like the ancient jaw-jutting Hapsburgs followed to inflict on the world a depressing feudalism. 
     Controlling family fortunes is where the rubber seems to hit the road.   A slight twist of history and the fossil fuel chuggers rolling on rubber down asphalt could have been avoided with the invention of some phenomenal magneto-machine that reversed gravity.  Ford knew it even with an eighth grade education.   "Henry Ford started drinking heavily, went into a deep depression and started plotting with the 'Business Plotters' just after he heard that a few years earlier Orville Wright had said in an interview at Kittyhawk..."If I had asked the people what they wanted they would have told me a faster car," Colbachi chirped.
     "At the dark heart of every rape is the desire to own something that's not yours," said Colbachi who is a firm believer in the "I-Thou" spirituality of Jewish theologian Martin Buber and of a universal Golden Rule.  "It's high time that people of the earth joined an exclusive knighthood....the Universal Knights of the Golden Rule," said Colbachi.  "Let Mrs. Shattuck lead cheers for this noble assemblage that will take down any ISIS threat or the malcontents that create an ISIS like they did with Al Qaeda through Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood which, thank the Almighty, the Arab Springers and the visionaries, Anwar Sadat,  and Menachem Begin who probably knew that Israeli scientists were working on what would become Neal and Linden Blues Reaper and Predator drones.  Drone makers hate peace.  It's bad for business.  Begin and Sadat knew full well who were the bigger goons pulling Smedley Butler's strings before he cut them and who like Bandar Bush, GWB, and the Duke of Windsor and Wallis Simpson have long shared a crib."

    Historian Lowell P. Wigglesworth has announced that he is working on a new history of the U.S. based on the untold history of the American Civil War titled Swarm of Lies: Demythologizing American History and Myth.  "I am delighted to have signed a contract with Belisarius Press for the publication of the untold history of the U.S. that addresses an amazing array of propagandized prevarications that have led us to exactly where we are with the only apparent choice of a Presidential candidate of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump who has announced that he might make Rudy Giuliani his head of the Department of Homeland Security....Giuliani who in 2015 left Bracewell & Giuliani and joined the former law firm of Jack Abramoff.  The working title is Swarm of Lies: Demythologizing American History & Myth.   It will render Howard Zinn's 1980 A People's History of the United States a nice hors d'oeuvre to a truly filling, face slapping and gut pounding meal," said Wigglesworth.
     Among Wigglesworth's assertions:

•     The driving motive for the U.S. Civil War was not states' rights or the ending of slavery.
•    The truth about our history is not taught in public education programs.
•    The 1930's "Business Plot" reported by Smedley Butler was real.
•     O. John Rogge's case that a core of Fascist business leaders were leading the U.S. away from its core principles was correct.

Flint Water War Moving to Texas?

     Residents of Flint, Michigan are having to cook with and drink purified water in plastic bottles. They still have to pay their bill for the poisonous water delivered to their taps in lead pipes. Lead was banned in house paint in Europe fifty years before it was banned in the U.S. according to one Michigan resident who returned to his childhood home to investigate the water issues there. "Lead was put in gasoline, too, long after it was widely known to be a major health hazard.  The petro-chemical companies told us that it made our auto engines run better. It wasn't because our scientists and Europe's weren't talking to each other.  We knew it was some bad stuff to be breathing," said Cornell Connolly of Scientists for Greater Transparency in Inkster, Michigan. Connolly worked for years in Flint without knowing that the water was fed through lead pipes.  In the 1930's my father worked for the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn and he wanted to live there, but blacks weren't allowed, not in Dearborn. Inkster was the 'Blacks-only' community so when we moved from Flint to Dearborn, it wasn't to Dearborn, but to Inkster.  Lead paint was banned in Europe in the 1920's and in the U.S in 1978. So what does that tell you?  They were laying those damn lead pipes long after they knew that it was a health hazard!  Henry Ford must have been pleased, I guess.  His buddy, Adolf, just gassed people without a pretext. Assault them slowly and it's palatable. During World War II when my father learned that Henry Ford was a racist and backed Adolf Hitler we moved to Chicago where he turned to jazz and blues music and teaching," said Connolly.

     Connolly is concerned that the Nestle Company received water permits in 2001 and 2002 from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Nestles pumps 400 gallons per minute from the aquifers that feed Lake Michigan and put it into plastic bottles made from petrol-chemicals. Nestles which is not required to pay anything for the water received $13 million in tax breaks from the state. The wife of Dennis Muchmore, the Michigan Governor's chief of staff, Deborah Muchmore, is the spokesperson for Nestles which in the 1970's had sold its baby formula to Third World mothers to be mixed with the impure water. This deprived their babies of natural mother's milk that helps to insure a healthy childhood. "It was called the Nestles Boycott," said Connolly of the movement that brought Nestles' practice to an end before it moved into bottled water.   "Those idiots were using nurses, the most respected profession in the world, as trainers and couriers of their baby formula," said Connolly who added "if you're trying to control population growth that would do it for profit."
      "We are really concerned that these corporate water wars are moving to Texas," said Connolly. "I was reading that during the second week of a forty year tradition of a marathon run where water is essential that the water had to be boiled. My first question was...."Is Nestles nearby?' Are they trying to normalize our having to boil water, filter water, so we'll say....'what the hell, we'll just buy the plastic bottles.' I heard one woman from Texas joking that her neighborhood was putting in a reverse osmosis system and the women folk are leaning to juggle jugs of water on their heads. The same Texas city had a problem in the year before the 2000 Presidential election. The Koch Refinery, and you have to remember that Fred Koch who was a founder of the John Birch Society was a good friend of Henry Ford and that Koch had built many of Germany's oil refineries, had released fifteen times the EPA allowed benzene levels into the air. After the 2000 election of George W. Bush the 97 count indictment and $350 million fine turned into a 1 count indictment and a $20 million fine," said Connolly who admitted that the Flint and Texas water problems may be signs of wider pollution issues.

      According to Lucien Von Pyre a former member of Frank Buchman's Oxford Group that supported Adolf Hitler during World War II "Dearborn and Inkster's water problems developed along racial lines.   Flint's lead-based water woes came from Inkster's 'Nigga' toes'," said Von Pyre, a chapter in the regions history confirmed by Connolly.  "Yea, well, you had Motor City's top echelon living in Grosse Point, the middle class in Dearborn or Flint and African Americans in Inkster and the saying was "Flint's water flows without nigga' toes."   Of course the middle class in Flint and Dearborn weren't aware of the lead pipes, well some were, but they weren't talking," said Von Pyre whose uncle worked at National Lead Company.

     "The whole thing blew up in the 1930's with the rise of Adolf Hitler in Germany with the support he got from the American German Bund and the "Business Plotters" that included Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Charlie Lindberg and the like.  One of Dearborn's prominent pastors was H. Richard Neibuhr whose brother wrote the Serenity Prayer, Reinhold Neibuhr, and both H. Richard and Reinhold were in Henry Ford's rearview mirror and burning Harvey Firestone's rubber over their support of the Nazis.  It's all in that interview that I did recently," said Von Pyre noting that Neibuhr wrote Christianity and Power Politics in 1940 which included a chapter on Frank Buchman and the Oxford Group.

     HM:  When you were running with Buchman's Oxford Group were you aware of the Kennedy connection to Texas and Hitler's oil agent there?  I have read Dale Harrington's book William Rhodes Davis: Nazi Agent of Influence and had no idea that running around in Texas was Hitler's oil man, but then I didn't know that Fred Koch who was a founder of the John Birch Society was building Hitler's refineries....nor as Edwin Black has so meticulously laid out about the IBM and Mary Harriman connections to Fascist Germany in his books.

      VP:  The family of Kennedy's oil drilling partner in Texas would help with the economic attack on California during the wide-open-de-regulated Bush era bamboozle that was akin to the S&L crisis and the 2008 global financial meltdown based on a phony housing bubble and the fossil-fuel-energy-rape of California by Enron.  These same people that were drilling oil for Kennedy's oil company, Mokeen Oil Co.,  in Texas were running Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for the U.S. which we acquired, thank you Teddy Roosevelt, after San Juan Hill. That's how long this thing has been going on.  In the 1930's and 40's we knew that there was a powerful group of U.S. businessmen who were attempting to overthrow FDR for what they felt was FDR's betrayal by "socializing" worker's retirement.  We knew that it was called the "Business Plot" and that it was the subject of the McCormack-Dickstein Committee investigation.  We knew that O. John Rogge was investigating for the Justice Department the Nazi penetration into U.S. culture.  General Smedley Darlington Butler had indicated to various sources outside this committee that the group included Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Charlie Lindberg, some....most... say Prescott Bush whose relationship to Fritz Thyssen, Hitler's banker, would have put him on anyone's no-fly list today.  He was censured as part of the Union Bank's legal woes.

      HM:  Was John D. Rockefeller on that list? 

      VP:  Well, that's hard to say.  The records weren't published.  Of course the forerunner of the CIA, the OSS, met at 30 Rock in New York, Rockefeller Center.  Dulles tapped the Operation Paper Clip gang for service to the U.S. after the war and John D. Rockefeller's connections to Humble Oil in Texas, Standard Oil of New Jersey, Exxon, are all clear connections. 

      H.M.:  I remember that Exxon's top geologist was a Texan from Hutto, Texas and that his brother's wife's father, maybe his own father-in-law, I can't remember exactly, was the chauffeur for both Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone.  That's pretty connected if you ask me.  I believe that he attended the same church in Austin, Texas as the Old Testament professor who had been a parishioner of Rev. H. Richard Niebuhr in Michigan.

      VP:  See how closely the leading figures are to each other.  Kevin Bacon's six degrees of separation minus about 5.5 degrees!  That was A.G. Collin, who was the personal chauffeur of Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Thomas Edison, John Burroughs and others implicated in the plot.   His son-in-law Harvey Olander from Hutto, died in 2006, but the Collin story, written for the Hutto Heritage Foundation, begins...."My wife's father was chauffeur of Henry Ford.  It all started because A.G. Collin and Milton Bryant were the best of friends.  Milton Bryant was the brother of Mrs. Henry Ford."

      H.M.:  So the 1930's fascist business plot in the U.S. was real and included these figures?

      VP:  Oh, it was real.   That was what I was going to tell you earlier.   Not only did Jesse Owen's performance open my eyes to the Nazi threat, but so did Reinhold Niebuhr's 1940 book in which he names the two leading "Business Plot" personalities.   It has to do with the "get the Indian chieftain and you get the whole tribe for Jesus."    Niebuhr put it this way in his chapter on Buchman and Hitler:

     This philosophy has been implicit in Buchmanite strategy from the beginning. It explains the particular attention which is paid by Mr. Buchman and his followers to big men, leaders, in  industry and politics.  The idea is that if the man of power can be converted, God will be able to control a larger area of human life through his power than if a little man were converted.  This is the logic which has filled the Buchmanites with touching solicitude for the souls of such men as Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone and prompted them to whisper confidently  from time to time that these men were on the very threshold of the kingdom of God.  It is this strategy which prompts or justifies the first-class travel of all the Oxford teams.  They hope to make contact with big men in the luxurious first-class quarters of ocean liners.

H.M.:  This is dangerous in your eyes that have now been opened?  Did you feel that these "big men" were being forced by FDR through the McCormick-Dickstein Committee to oppose Hitler for their support of his New Deal or he'd take them to Congress and disgrace them as has been so widely reported?

VP:  It's a strange bed we've made isn't it?  FDR is a New England Brahmin insider married to his cousin from Savannah, Georgia where William Tecumseh Sherman essentially ends the Civil War by destroying the South's railroads and there is FDR holding a gun to the head of these leading right-wingers of the U.S. power politics, but was Henry Ford really a self-made man who was not dependent on the collective will of his car buyers who supported tax-paid roads that guaranteed that his buyers' fillings didn't pop out of their teeth as they jockeyed their new Model-T's?  Was Harvey Firestone self-made?   Henry Ford, who clearly supported Hitler, had given people what he said they didn't know that they really wanted, yet, and if he had asked them what they wanted they would have said "a faster horse", but hey, if he had given them a flying mechanical, energy efficient, high-speed, pollution-free, faster horse that fits in your back yard or on your rooftop and does not need any roads at all.... Harvey Firestone's fortunes from rubber and all that self-made stuff?  Poof!  The rubber never would have hit the road!  That is what led, I believe, Niebuhr, to write:

Does Mr. Buchman really believe that the dictators of the modern world created their dictatorships out of whole cloth?  He does not know that, evidently, they are the creatures more than the creators of vast social movements in modern history.  The particular social forces which created dictatorships are on the whole the decadent forces of a very sick society.  The sickness of that society is called sin; and if a word of God is to be spoken in such an hour as this as it should be the woe of Christ upon his Jerusalem or the prophecy of judgment which an Amos or Jeremiah pronounced upon their civilization.

Name of Lockerbie Passenger, Matthew Gannon, Not Mentioned In Smithsonian's Documentary The Lockerbie Bombing.

     As a historian who has spent much of my life documenting just how the U.S. Civil War was fought primarily over a transcontinental rail route to the Pacific and the poppy fields of the Middle East and the opium products used as trading chips in the Orient, I am fascinated with just how governments and the press limit people's understanding of the events that shape their world.
     Twenty five years after that dreadful event the Smithsonian announced...."A Smithsonian documentary, THE LOCKERBIE BOMBING, premieres tonight, December 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 25 years to the day of the deadliest terrorist attack on American civilians until the September 11 attacks."
     The documentary claims that The Lockerbie Bombing is a "definitive account of what happened that night and what unfolded over the following days," and that the "program uses footage from Scotland's STV news archives, including material that has never previously been broadcast, as well as first-hand testimonies from local residents, some sharing their stories on camera for the first time. It traces the story from check-in through the chilling moment seven days later when it was confirmed that there had been a bomb on board and that the explosion was an act of terrorism. Four families of American victims of the tragedy and members of the emergency services who responded to the disaster also tell their stories."
     The Smithsonian wraps a tight bow around the story with a conclusion:
"After two years of investigation, the blame was laid at the door of Libyan intelligence and the regime of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. In 2001, Libyan Intelligence Officer Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi was convicted by a Scottish Court of planting the bomb aboard Pan Am Flight 103. Despite his conviction many questions still remain over the bombing."
     Indeed!

     Let's take a relatively short, circuitous, trip through the Smithsonian's documentary about Lockerbie that aired on December 21, 2013 following the events of the crash on December 21, 1988, twenty-five years to the day, the anniversary of the tragic event.  I repeat this fact because of the importance of anniversaries for triggering memories and for providing a powerful opportunity for molding and reshaping them.  We are tempted to believe this "properline" even when it seems "improper" and when there is a nagging suspicion that something is purposely left out.  
     It was the C-SPAN interview by Brian Lamb of Civil War historian Shelby Foote that led me to the conclusion that our Civil War history had been as twisted as William Tecumseh Sherman's railroad bowties between Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia.  I heard Shelby Foote say to Brian Lamb "I consulted no original materials in my histories.  It's all been gone over before."  That astounding admission was a huge red flag for a historian, any historian, to make, but which Winsip Custer took on in his article titled Tracks II and subtitled Camel Caravan To A Clearer Conscience. 
     What followed was the discovery of three letters that stripped the official Civil War history we have come to know to its shucked cob.  The first was in Ulysses S. Grant's papers and spoke of his suspicion that Caleb Cushing was working for something or someone other than the Union.  The second was Jefferson Davis' January 20th, 1861 letter to Franklin Pierce discussing how close he was to Caleb Cushing, a letter found in the Jefferson Davis Project at Rice University, Houston, Texas and overseen by Frank Vandiver who did nothing with it except protect its volatile, illuminating secret.  The third letter was domiciled at the University of Iowa and spoke of William Tecumseh Sherman's nagging battle with two-time Congressional Medal of Honor winner turned muck-racking journalist, Henry Van Ness Boynton....the General Smedley Darlington Butler of his era....and of Sherman's continuing post-Civil War business relationship with Confederate General Braxton Bragg whom Sherman had trusted to dispatch with bothersome requests from the widow and daughters of General Morgan Lewis Smith who along with his brother, Giles Alexander Smith, had been in charge of the Buffalo Soldiers in Texas and over both Reconstruction and the continuing camel caravan across the Great Southwest from Texas to the Pacific in the region of San Diego, California. 
      Morgan Lewis Smith had been with his brother at Forts Donnelson and Henry where Admiral Andrew Hull Foote, the returned U.S. Naval commander had come from gunboat work on the Yangtze in support of the China trade twenty years after Caleb Cushing had opened it up by displacing the Brits with the promise that we would not do to the Chinese what the Brits had done....dump opium in our trading..... to open up the South's central river system to Union gunboats.   Foote duplicated on the South what he was doing in China. Some say that this act was the decisive and early battle of the Civil War.  Also at Fort Donnelson where William Tecumseh Sherman's pre-war and post-war business partner, Confederate General Braxton Bragg,  had capitulated was Union General Lew Wallace, author of the novel Ben Hur.  Wallace would become the U.S. Ambassador to the Ottoman Turks whose control of the Golden Crescent's opium trade had been exploited by Britain's leading opium trader David Sassoon.  It was at Smyrna, Sassoon's opium shipping center, that Jefferson Davis, the pre-Civil War US Secretary of War, imported camels to Texas with the help of Admiral David Dixon Porter which had the Smith brothers continuing until 1866 when the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad was in sight.  Morgan Lewis Smith would be appointed U.S. Consul to Hawaii.  The movement was toward appointments of key Union officers to key positions along the China trade route from the Middle East's Golden Crescent of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India to China, the U.S. and Europe.
     It was there at San Diego, Davis' envisioned Pacific rail port city that the Union plopped down what is today its premier Marine Corps and U.S. Naval base whose USN "mayor" is now the wife of Linden Blue of General Atomics, maker of the Reaper & Predator drones. Linden and his brother Neal moved on to drones following their partnership in the banana business in Nicaragua with ousted dictator, Anastasio Samoza.
     While U.S. Navy SEALS train in San Diego, the first SEAL, sometimes called "Lincoln's Commando" and "Sea Eagle", William B. Cushing, is buried on a hill above the U.S. Naval Academy.  Willliam Cushing had served under, some say over, Admiral David Dixon Porter and his life story was the subject of the book Lincoln's Commando by Charles Van Doren who became famous for his role in the rigged television game show, Twenty One, that became the movie Quiz Show.  Charles Van Doren published Lincoln's Commando in 1957 two years before he appeared before Congress to confess his part in the national fraud of Twenty One in 1959.  Charles Van Doren was the son of respected Columbia University Professor Emeritus, Mark Van Doren, who was not unlike Harvard's Michael Beschloss, who sits on the board of the Smithsonian and is trustee of the Whitehouse Historical Association and the National Archives Foundation and whose wife served on the boards of Temple-Inland, Texas Congressman Charlie Wilson's major contributor, and Carlyle Group, or like Rice University's Professor of History and Fellow with the James A. Baker Center for Public Policy, Dr. Douglas Brinkley, who I passed in the hallway on my way to the Jefferson Davis Project to confirm with the project's editor that Frank Vandiver had not simply overlooked the significance of Jeff Davis' and Caleb Cushing's close friendship.
    Columbia University is the Mecca of applied sociology whose "Father of Applied Sociology" was Robert Merton, whose son, also Robert Merton, was the Nobel Prize winner for the Black Scholes formula that led to credit default swaps that tanked the U.S. economy.   Over the years Columbia's sociology and journalism departments moved from the leadership of producing muck-raking social critics like Vance Packard who wrote such books as The Waste Makers, Hidden Persuaders, The Pyramid Climbers, The Ultra Rich: How Much Is Too Much?, The Naked Society and The People Shapers, to a media manipulation  agenda that produced a Charles Van Doren or Stephen Coll, formerly of the Washington Post who now heads up the Columbia School of Journalism as the Henry Luce Professor of Journalism and who oversaw at the Washington Post the Metro-Editor, Vernon Loeb, who manufactured the stories of Pat Tillman's death, Jessica Lynch's rescue, and who became Paula Broadwell's co-author of the General David Petraeus story, All In.
     Just as the Smithsonian documentary on Lockerbie leaves out important elements of that story so other stories are bent and twisted.  Lockerbie was tied to the Middle East, but so was our Civil War.  Our Civil War and events leading up to the Lockerbie bombing may seem unrelated.  They are not.   The U.S. Civil War killed the South's rail ambitions while Caleb Cushing's New England China traders and opium smugglers working with Middle Eastern imports arriving on cutters like the Frolic near San Francisco where William Tecumseh Sherman had been working before the Civil War in both Sacramento and San Francisco with George C. Bragg to deliver the rail route's Pacific hub to the Union Pacific with San Francisco as the Pacific terminus. 
     Sherman's California ambition coincides with the 1850-51 Jefferson Davis survey of the Southern route and the 1850 shipwreck of the Frolic near what would become in 1857 Fort Bragg, California in what is today Medicino County.  The Frolic was a Heard Co. opium cutter, the fastest of its day and its history is documented in the 1999 book by Dr. Thomas Layton, the Professor Emeritus of Archeology at University of California, Chino, titled Voyage of the Frolic: New England Merchants and the Opium Trade published by Stanford University Press. Do you hear this history from the Smithsonian's documentaries?  And you won't.  Layton is the brother of the only man convicted in the death of U.S. Congressman Leo Ryan and the son of the U.S. military's chemical warfare research division who had also worked on the Manhattan Project. 
     Thomas Layton documents that the noted black abolitionist orator, Frederick Douglass, was also known as Frederick Augustus Washington "Fred" Bailey, a former employee in the Gardner Shipyard, Baltimore, Maryland where the Frolic's hull had been laid.  It was at the invitation of Caleb Cushing that Jefferson Davis spoke for slavery at Boston's Faneuil Hall where Frederick Douglass  spoke against it.  Cushing was the Angelo Dundee and Don King of a carefully orchestrated and monumental fight....the U.S. Civil War.  Tickets to the fight were bought and sold on the premise of ending slavery or promoting states' rights.   The masses were and are still unaware of the deeper motive, though not surprisingly former military personnel returning from Afghanistan and the Middle East are often as skeptical of the real motive for being there, especially in the poppy-rich Helmand Province providing security during harvest-time, as Col Bo Gritz was following his post-Vietnam War interview of the Golden Triangle's drug lord, Kung Sa. 
     While Thomas Layton's book had peeled back the skin on the history of the push to the Pacific neither he nor his sister or brother tell us much about San Francisco in the 1980's. Leo Ryan's Congressional aide, Joseph Holsinger,  insisted that Leo Ryan had gone to Guyana and was murdered for attempting to expose a U.S. military experiment there....a mind-control experiment. Holsinger's assertions were reinforced by investigative journalist John Judge.  Layton's sister was the mistress of the head of San Francisco's Housing Authority, Rev. Jim Jones, founder of The Peoples' Temple of Jonestown, Guyana.
      On September 23, 2001 fourteen days after 911, John Judge wrote...."Our choice now seems to be between a 'new war' and a new world. As always, the forces of reaction and wealth are telling us we have no choice but war, and no right or power to decide. They are calling for a secret investigation, a secret conviction, a secret method of execution, and a totally secret war abroad. The American people as a whole are the only ones in the world who have the right to decide on a national response to this tragedy, and it must be one that takes into account the right of all the people and nations of the world."
     Those words are prophetic given what we now know for sure.  John Judge took former CIA agent, John Stockwell's assertion that the CIA's mission has been to find or make enemies ever since the U.S. National Security aparatus was established in 1947.   The "Business Plotters" of the 1930's had indeed been resurrected in the U.S. after World War II.    John Judge was prophetic on that score as well when he wrote: "Under the evil genius of Allen Dulles, whose espionage attacks on the Soviet Union date back to the 1920's, $200 million in Rockefeller and Mellon funds was directed into the hands of Hitler's spymaster Reinhard Gehlen and his 350 Nazi spies, who formed and founded our Central Intelligence Agency in 1947." O. John Rogge's book on the Nazi penetration in the U.S. affirmed Judge's scholarship.

 
     Lest you dismiss out of hand this seemingly unbelievable set of facts, may I remind you that much of what we have been led to believe by our government and media is prevarication.  Lies dusted with Yellow cake crumbs. Iran-Contra. Tuskegee. Pruitt-Igoe. Frank Church's committee probe into CIA political assassinations. The sale of lead-based paint, pipes, gasoline additives fifty years after scientists and governments in Europe banned its sale.  A civil defense program that promoted painting our houses with white lead paint as a preventative to ignition during a nuclear attack at the same time we were told that we held a policy of "mutually assured destruction" or MAD.  There's cigarettes and decades of cancer cover-up from companies like Brown & Williamson and RJ Reynolds whose heirs were Gordon and C. Boyden Gray, the later a Bush family attorney like Dick Thornburgh with Gordon overseeing the government committee that stripped J. Robert Oppenheimer of his national security clearance for refusing to make the hydrogen bomb . There was Credit Mobilier.  Tammany Hall.  Twenty-eight pages of 911 Commission facts that were forced into the light...still redacted of information.... leading security-cleared, but outspoken witnesses who had seen them to say that those pages had nothing to do with national security, but with Saudi influence in America..... fifteen years after 911 and twenty four years after the FBI stood down on the FINCEN or Financial Crimes Enforcement Network halting an investigation into Saudi influence peddling in the U.S. that could have netter the 911 hijackers long before 911. The list is substantial, but it omits the 1999 repeal of the swindle-limiting 1933 Glass-Steagall Act that had learned from the Great Depression lessons about Wall Street investment bankers and politicians slouching toward swindles with repeal opening the door in the last year of Bill Clinton's administration which President Clinton did not even attempt to veto.  What followed? The arrival of GWB and the 2008 global financial meltdown based on a spaghetti bowl of bamboozled frauds, scams and hoodwinks. 
     September 11, 2001 may not have been the inside job that David Ray Griffin has convincingly argued it was, but that aside, Americans were screwed by its criminal leadership.  Criminal.  There's no other way to assess the facts.  Nor have I mention that science has been placed under house arrest like Copernicus and Galileo, but not by the Roman Catholic Church this time, but by the Grand Inquisitor of the world's oil cartels.   Had they employed a former seminarian turned politician, Al Gore, who became the face of the global warming debate to make political what we can not afford to politicize while selling his television company to another from an oil rich Middle Eastern nation?
     Al Gore's centrality in the global warming debate is something that has not been adequately looked into.  He was a sponge for the fossil fuel purveyors to cry foul and he displaced a number of leading scientists whose credibility would have taken the debate beyond cries of biased conjecture.  Bottom line?  Look at Gore's net worth from giving his "Inconvenient Truth" speech would could be as right as acid rain, but so politicized the debate as to achieve for the petrol pumpers what they wanted.  Lockjaw.  Stalemate. That's gotta' be worth a ton of money for Al Gore.
     Our Civil War was a similar bamboozle and can now be added to the long list.  Out of the unreported Civil War letters emerged a vivid picture of the Civil War we thought we knew, but don't.  It was fought by the powerless over states' rights or abolition of slavery.  For the rich and powerful it was fought over the rail route to the Golden Crescent's poppy production and future markets among, disproportionately, the world's poor and informs even more than the battle over Middle Eastern oil reserves....control of the highly addictive and renewable opium poppy from the Middle Eastern Golden Crescent and new sources like the Golden Triangle and Columbian poppy regions that wish to share in the booty.  The North envisioned a rail route along the Russell's Pony Express trail through the Rockies, but the South had the flatland advantage until the 1867 invention of Alfred Nobel's game changer: Dynamite.
    Historian Frank Vandiver would become Rice University President like Kenneth Pitzer whose testimony before the Gordan Gray committee led to J. Robert Oppenheimer's defrocking. Vandiver would go on become Rice President, too, before heading up the Moser Institute of Defense Studies at Texas A&M University home of both the George W. Bush Presidential Library and the tragic collapse of the world's largest bon-fine at Texas A&M, a structure that was determined to need a steel core like that engineered by Minoru Yamasaki, architect of the World Trade Center into which Edward Mosher's steel, namesake of the Mosher Institute, had contributed 13,000 tons.  Yamasaki had been the architect on St. Louis' infamous Pruitt-Igoe housing project that was "pulled" by the same company that "pulled" the free-falling Building Seven on 911.  While head of the Mosher Institute Vandiver would write in 2005 his last book How America Goes To War.
    So we wonder why we have still had such race relation problems and an endless war on drugs.  Neither do we hear that Vietnam, our venture there sparked by the fraudulent Gulf of Tonkin Affair, was for the British a major transshipment point for Middle Eastern opium before it traveled to Hong Kong and  up the Yangtze that resulted in the Opium Wars with China and Britain that had its continuation in the French and U.S. ambitions in that region. 
     Caleb Cushing, along with John Perkins Cushing, both of Boston, Massachusetts were the nation's leading opium smugglers and their appetite for what became known as the "China Trade" was punctuated by Cushing's negotiation of the Wanghia Treaty with China through which Britain's China trade and opium ambitions and wars became our unending war on drugs. 
   Similarly, the documentary, The Lockerbie Bombing, by claiming to be definitive is hardly that.  It walks us through the story through the eyes of four victims' families.  Most were ordinary people like you and me, but some were not, and their stories were not told at all.  One is of special note: Matthew Gannon.
     In May 2012  the CIA, Central Intelligence Agency, officially admitted through Ferran Lee's ABC News' May 23, 2012 story "CIA Identifies, Memorialized Fallen Covert Officer" that Pan Am 103 passenger, Matthew Gannon, was a member of the CIA married to Susan Tweeton, the daughter of Thomas Tweeton, the CIA's Deputy Director of Operations.
     General David Petraeus, the new CIA Director presided over the ceremony for Gannon at Arlington National Cemetery.  Petraeus would later resign on the heels of a scandal involving Paula Broadwell, co-author of All In: The Education of General David Petraeus with then Metro-Editor of the Washington Post, Vernon Loeb, who had manufactured the stories of Pat Tillman and Jessica Lynch before becoming the Managing Editor the Houston Chronicle in the heart of the Ellington Field and Houston Gulf Manor Airport region where the leading Iran-Contra prosecutor, Michael Bromwich, had arrived to investigate the local equivalent of the CIA's "license to kill" and "get out of jail free card" the sloppy work of the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.  Bromwich had insured that the Iran-Contra misdeeds did not lead to an indictment of a sitting President and Vice-President, Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.   Petraeus had already been confronted for the corruption in the Iraq War by West Point's chief ethicist, Col. Theodore "Ted" Westhusing, whose story was the opening chapter of Christian T. Miller's book, Blood Money.  Westhusing will and should be remembered as the Iraq War's Henry V.N. Boynton or Smedley Butler even as David Petraeus is remembered as a modern Belasarius.
     It was reported after Matt Gannon's death at Lockerbie and the discovery that he was going to be flying back on the same flight to the U.S. with the son of the FBI's head of its International Terrorism program, that Gannon was a righteously troubled intelligence agent.  Gannon was a man on a mission....a man looking for answers from the CIA.  The FBI agent was not available to console Gannon on the flight home.  The two agencies were often at cross purposes when it came to terrorism groups and their use and misuse by the CIA across the Muslim world with the FBI responsible for monitoring their activities in the U.S., a responsibility that was blatantly mismanaged during the lead up to 911.  The FBI agent had changed his flight plans and had not boarded Pan Am 103 with Gannon.  The agent's family said it was a necessary change in plans. The skeptics said it was something more sinister.
     As an Arab specialist Gannon was reportedly returning to Washington D.C. to press the CIA's top brass for an explanation as to just why the rank and file CIA agents in the field had so little on Al Qaeda when Al Qaeda had been spawned in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood, funded as they were by the Saudi royals who were behind the plot to kill Anwar Sadat.  Sadat had joined in a historic peace initiative with President Jimmy Carter and Menachem Begin, Prime Minister of Israel.  Peace is not profitable for war profiteers which also explains the much claimed "October Surprise" that thwarted Carter's intended pre-election release of U.S. hostages in Iran.   Had Carter's plans been embraced millions of deaths in the Middle East would have been avoided.   Gannon, it seems, believed that there was a CIA within the CIA that found insider information about Al Qaeda, recruited as Al Qaeda had been by the CIA to fight the Russians in Afghanistan, off limits to most CIA agents.  Gannon may not have known that every day Frank Vandiver would walk beside the Robert Herring Building at Rice University to his office near the Jefferson Davis Project.  Gannon died before learning that Robert Herring's Houston Natural Gas morphed into Enron, but he may have known that Herrings wife, Joanne King Herring, had along with Texas State Representative from Lufkin, Charlie Wilson, prompted the arming of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, the poppy rich region of the Golden Crescent the primary source of the world's heroin until Indo-China's Golden Triangle and South America's mountains discovered that the ubiquitous poppy can grow nearly everywhere.
     Whether Gannon was aware of a mega-Machiavellian heart within the U.S. government we cannot know for certain, but as it turned out, two years later in 1992, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network or FINCEN investigation into Saudi influence peddling in the U.S. received a stand-down order in the election year that pitted George Herbert Walker Bush, William Jefferson Clinton and H. Ross Perot in a heated Presidential race.
       Had the FINCEN investigation been allowed to proceed it would likely have caught the September 11, 2001 hijackers in as much as the 28 pages from the Official 911 Report are squarely on the subject of Saudi funding of terrorism in the U.S..  Arab extremists had been allowed to grow in the U.S. with help from within our borders and with funding from Saudi Arabia.  A major target of the FINCEN investigation in 1992 was James R. Bath who in 1977 had been the Saudi royal banker's, Khalid Bin Mahfouz, business partner in Texas.  Bath was George W. Bush's Texas Air National Guard roommate.  Bath's business partner at the CIA-linked Ellington Field near the Houston Gulf Manor Airport, William E. King, an attorney for Bracewell and Patterson Law Firm, now Bracewell & Giuliani in Houston, became the Mayor of Kemah, Texas.  William E. King also worked in Texas to privatize the Firemen's Pension Fund of the state with Bracewell & Giuliani's managing partner, Patrick C. Oxford even as the New York City fire fighters released a report on Giuliani's highly questionable handling of the 911 attack.   Mahfouz and Bath purchased in Texas the Houston Gulf Manor Airport near the CIA-linked Ellington Field for Salem Bin Laden.  That airport was razed after the 2001 September 11th World Trade Center and Pentagon attack.
     There was another important plane crash in 1988, but a smaller one.  That year, Osama Bin Laden's brother, Salem Bin Laden, owner of the Houston Gulf Manor Airport for over ten years and an experienced jet pilot, inexplicably flew an ultra-light aircraft into a high power line in Cibolo, Texas.  The incident was reported by Lowell Bergman of CBS's 60 Minutes as having been in Salems' BAC-111 jet, a blatant error that was not corrected.  CBS's 60 Minutes' Mary Mapes would sit on the Texas Air National Guard story of George W. Bush that included James R. Bath in 2000, repeating it 2004, but in a way that provided the Bush advisor, Dick Thornburgh, an opportunity to spin the story to Bush's advantage.
     Clearly, the Smithsonian's documentary producers had plenty of time to add this important element to their film.  As it stands, Matt Gannon is not even mentioned. This is how history is rewritten, scrubbed of the truth, and used against an unwitting citizenry whose tax dollars help to fund wars for profit in distant regions.
     As a historian concerned about the accuracy of the news and of our shared history I am demanding that the Smithsonian Institute address this lapse in credibility and ask that all concerned citizens do the same.  Let me say that again.  Come clean Smithsonian!

     The recent water issues in Flint, Michigan, a city ravaged by job losses in the automotive industry and the accompanying urban decline coincides with a rise of two new industries: Water... bottled water, purified water, canned water and alternative renewable energy sources produced from algae. 
     These two up and coming industries will fight local municipalities for their largest nearby water resources.  In the Midwest they will battle for the Great Lakes.   To the west the fight will be and now is going on over the Ogallala aquifer.  In the Northeast, the expansive river systems are the target of industry like the Flint River that was cited as exacerbating the lead piping problem.   Along the Gulf Coast the Mississippi Delta and major bays and estuaries that can easily be mined for their algae plumes....industrialized and developed not for their historic natural wildlife and aquatic resources, but for hyper-cultivated oil producing bio-aquatics like those currently being developed on a large scale the San Francisco Bay area.
     With the major aquifers of the United State severely threatened by increasing water extraction and with declining fossil fuels the new script is being written.   "I see it coming quick," said snaggle-toothed and balding Al "One-Armed-Gator-Man" Boudreaux of Crawfish Bay, Louisiana.   "When they started running all these television shows about backwoods people and swamp people I knew that the handwriting was on the wall.  The Duck Nation folks are the real endangered people.  That comedian Bill Burr said it right....'There's this guy from Nestles who doesn't think water is a human right. He ought to be hunted down and shot!  Right?  And they (the politicians) are gonna sit and talk about....I don't know....'we've gotta get the people back to work,'  Dude!  This guy wants to own the rain.  Can we do something about this guy?  You work at Nestle.  You're suppose to be happy.  You make cocoa for people and this guy says 'hey, people are running out of water.  What if we owned all the water and we keep it under our place and in the future when everybody.....' well the future is here.  Look at history.  The man with the plan wins, for a while anyway.  Only the strong survive, this week.  I know enough about Nestles that they didn't treat babies in the Third World too well.   Bechtel fought for the water rights of Bolivia that has the first or second largest lithium deposits in the world and the Bolivians did something you wouldn't expect. They fought back!  Bechtel and their elected local Bolivian stooges were passing legislation to prohibit collection of rain from Bolivians' roofs.  It was a monopoly pure and simple if it passed and the Bolivians would have been slaves.  Enron was going way beyond "market-to-market" and "theoretical future value" accounting principles....."principles, hah!'.....to seeing that vampire, Jeffrey Skilling, trying to sell weather futures.   What?   Yea, that's exactly what he was proposing and he was going to sell the future rain storms to the highest bidders like he did with Enron's controlling the energy grid in the western states and pumping up the prices in California under Governor Gray Davis," said Boudreaux who left his job on Wall Street when he was twenty five having just graduated from the Wharton Business School with an MBA to wrestle at the alligator farm where he lost his arm while acquiring an immunity to water moccasin venom.
    Boudreaux was correct.  According to Dale Harrington, author of Mystery Man: William Rhodes Davis Nazi Agent of Influence,  California Governor Gray Davis is the grandson of Hitler's oil agent in Texas who claims kinship to the Confederacy's Jefferson Davis and founder of Rhodesia, Cecil Rhodes, whose right-hand-man was John Hays Hammond the nephew of Texas Ranger and Sheriff of San Francisco elected in 1850, John Coffee "Jack" Hays. Back in Texas William Rhodes Davis, Gray's grandfather,  secured oil for Hitler transported out of the port of Brownsville.  Joseph P. Kennedy's Mokeen Oil in Texas... Kennedy being a strong backer of Adolf Hitler leading to his recall as U.S. Ambassador to Britain after he supported Prime Minister Neville Chamberlian's appeasement of Hitler... was available to W.R. Davis to be transported to the German refineries built by Fred Koch, a founder of the ultra-right-winged John Birch Society and Koch Industries.  Davis was recalled on the tails of the Enron crisis where Enron's PR person in California had been the granddaughter-in-law of Joseph P. Kennedy's drilling partner in Texas and as a result of the Enron debacle Gray Davis was pulled out of his Governor's office by a recall election and succeeded by Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger married to Maria Shriver, a Kennedy, while Schwarzenegger's father was an Austrian member of the Waffen SS," said Boudreaux adding "progress rolls on doesn't it?"
    Boudreaux sees the future water wars being played out in real-time. "Flint is one example.  I think that the Deep Water Horizon spill was another.  Exxon is not too far away from this scenario and their Corexit is essentially an ocean defoliant like Agent Orange.  Most people have no idea that there was a severe disease epidemic ravaging the Central American banana crops of Boston Fruit....that became United Fruit.  In Nicaragua, for example, Anastosia Samoza and his business partner's in bananas, Neal and Linden Blue, creators of the Predator and Reaper drones that shoot their depleted uranium shell across the world's battle fields, had imported the heartier and healthier Indo-Chinese Chadwick bananas to replace their dying crop at the same time that Agent Orange was defoliating the Indo-Chinese Chadwicks....that's all in the book Bananas: How the United Fruit Company Shaped the World by the BBC's and Financial Time's investigative reporter Peter Chapman," said Boudreaux who suggested I talk with Grady D. Minerves who was a water quality engineer for Robert Vesco's Louisiana hydroponics company, Multiphonics Inc., in which former CIA Director William Casey was heavily invested.
     "Look," said Minerves, "Fossil fuels are on the way out.  What replaces them?  Lithium batteries?  Not completely. Wind mills? Tapped volcanoes? We will be making new oils from algae and that means that just like people had to be displaced from above silver, gold and other mineral mines so the big bodies of water, the Chesapeake, the Great Lakes, San Francisco Bay, San Diego Bay, Biscayne Bay, Tampa Bay, Mobile Bay, Lake Pontchartrain and hundreds of thousands of square miles of other manageable closed waterways like the Mississippi Delta,  already nearly a big dead zone from farm runoff of nitrates, will be converted to algae farms.  It will be increasingly difficult for the tourist industries in the these regions to make a living because of the industrialization of green stuff.  People don't want to swim, fish and vacation around a big bog of green, orange, red or...in some cases....pinkish violet algae plumes....that can be quite pungent when the sun is pounding down on them.   Do you live on such a body of water as these?  Then start packing unless you're in algae and water engineering and start getting used to drinking water from a bottle or from you own every expensive reverse osmosis filtration and ultra-violet purification system. Oh, and invest in Coca-Cola, Nestles, and the other major users of processed water," said Minerves adding...."There will be places that you can still go to get to pristine beaches and clear, sparking ocean water, but it will really cost you.   Like the Caribbean side of Cuba and the Yucatan and the Atlantic Coast of Florida, which may save Biscayne Bay and Key Largo's Ocean Reef Club where George Bush and Harper Sibley's families fan their fannies in the Gulf Stream currents, but not the Gulf side which will eventually be dammed up between Key West and Cozumel.   Guantanamo Bay is, therefore, prime real estate, but not for waterboarding radical Muslims.The Gulf will be one big algae farm in time and Cuba's north shore and west coast lined with algae engineering firms and their workers   Ask Michael Bromwich, the Iran-Contra prosecutor who insured that that little conspiracy didn't go too far up the food chain and who was promoted to handling the Deep Water Horizon disaster out of which, like good marine salvage wreckers throughout history, the funds have already come to start the project from England's British Petroleum.  Out of all of this Cuba will rise as the tourist Mecca of the Western World and I would invest there too, but not until they have had some time to forget about Fidel and Raul," said Minerves noting that neither man have the foresight to create such an aggressive answer to the world's clash of competing energy challenges. 
   In both Flint, Michigan and Texas, Erin Brockovich who had uncovered the water issues at Hinckley, California has arrived to bring the spotlight on the issue of water quality.  "She's not there to do anything more than to normalize the shift from cheap high quality water to expensive high quality water," said Minerves who admits he really liked Brockovich when she was younger.  "Shitty water does that nicely.  In every community you should ask 'what happened here and how?'  You will generally find that some critical event has happened like lead leeching into the water or some other slip up and heads start to roll and the issue become a crisis and crisis means great opportunities for profits for those who offer their expensive solutions and general dumbing down of the populace and demoralized resignation and a new normal," said Minerves whose wife is practicing balancing water jugs on her head to carry their water from the new reverse osmosis pump at the center of their exclusive Baton Rouge neighborhood.
    "When you look into the background of Hinckley, California and connections to the John Warnock Hinckley, Jr. who shot Ronald Reagan and then discover that Pacific Gas & Electric that polluted the city wells and anything is imaginable with respect to that fiasco and even with Erin Brockovich.  Remember, too, that Pacific Gas & Electric's chief legal counsel in California was the father of the American Taliban John Walker Lindh and all of a sudden this crazy little water deal is filled with more weird alien creatures than Zoltare's sludge pools in the month of Bondargaz," said Beaudreaux.
    Bill and Melinda Gates, are funding research in ways to bring up cold water from the ocean floor along long tubes to the surface for effecting the direction of future hurricanes.  "I'd invest in whatever companies Bill and Melinda are creating to do that since they could protect the algae farms from periodic interruptions," said Minerves noting that Bill Gates' father was the attorney for the company that created product codes and scanners used in all retail stores, today, and while Bill admitted in an interview with Apple founder Steve Jobs before he died that Microsoft had created Apple's operating system so that 1984 would not be 1984.  "You don't want some act of god dumping rain water into the algae-plume-money-bowl," Minerves concluded. 
   Meanwhile, Boudreaux is concerned that the plastic bottle manufacturers and companies that use enormous quantities of drinking water....Coca-Cola, Pesi-Cola, Nestlé's and even ground water siphoned off by hydraulic fracking companies will push the water issue to critical levels.  "We saw it when Reddy Ice went bankrupt in 2008.  I never understood exactly why, since they have an enormous profit margin on water.   The Dallas, Texas based company found its stock price plummet in 2008 after it was proven to have been engaged in price fixing with its competitor, Glacier Ice.  It was selling 1.8 tons of ice per year and making a half a billion dollars, but went bankrupt.  It was purchased after the bankruptcy by a company related to the Rothschilds and Blackstone Group.  They don't buy losers.  This led some to claim that like the example of Western Bank and others that ducked into bankruptcy based on a court judgement that may have masked the financial realities while the profits went to Switzerland, the Caymans, Panama or wherever and the whole racket starts all over again with the help of a corrupt legal system.  There was case during Hurricane Katrina, I think, where people standing in line for ice got into a fight for a $10 bag of ice and stabbed each other," said Boudreaux.  "The plastic water bottles are floating down the rivers into the oceans and pretty soon China will claim the island of plastic in the middle of the Pacific for a military base."
 

    
    



 

Americans With Disabilities Act To Be Rewritten For Trans-Gendered People

Tony Coelho Sees Simple Solution To Complex Physiology Issue

    Anthony "Tony" Coelho has the simple answer to a sticky cultural issue.  A strong supporter of the 1990 Americans With Disabilities Act or ADA that brought forward the issue of barrier-free access to public bathroom facilities, Coelho sees a new horizon for the evolution of non-discriminatory access to shared, inclusively governed spaces.  Rebuild.
     "When I heard that Coelho is suggesting that we rip out all the plumbing from our public facilities to handle trans-gendered people I was like.....what?......here we go again!" said Simon Peter Anghler from Tampa, Florida a building maintenance supervisor whose many public buildings could require massive changes that could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
     Reverend Guy Dwyer of the Church of Reconciliation in Greenbay, Wisconsin said "We spent about eighty thousand dollars to renovate our sanctuary so that the son of one of our deacons could roll his wheelchair up to the pulpit if he ever felt called by God Almighty to become a preacher.  Afterward, Johnny Philbert, the young man for whom it was built said 'I never read that Jesus ever preached from a pulpit like this so why did you spend $80,000 to change a perfectly good arrangement?'   Bart Bartholemew, our member and expert in building renovations who did the work at a $10,000 discount said "we did it because we felt we needed to exceed the ADA requirements and hit for Jesus a homerun for inclusion."    Bartholemew also contracted with Dwyer's church to convert all the bathrooms, twenty two of them, for the steeply discounted price of $264,882.    Sadly, according to Rev. Dwyer, "Bartholemew quit our church just after the work was done and moved on to the local Methodist Church where he did their renovations at what he said were 'significant savings,'" said Rev. Dwyer.
     According to Bartholemew's dossier he was working for a division of Ford Motor Company before that division was moved to Mexico.   A close friend who wished not to be identified said "Bart was flattened by what he called the 'giant sucking sound' of my job going south.   If it hadn't been for the ADA  being passed in 1990 I would have starved.   Then, had it not been for those wonderful sub-prime mortgages that led people to think that they needed a new home with more bathrooms, finer cabinets and counter-tops and higher ceilings, I would have starved again after losing my .COM job when the .COM bubble burst in 2000 just after the Y2K fear mongering proved to be a big bamboozle.   If I hadn't had that construction job between 2000 and 2008 when the big sub-prime-over-extend-yourself-on-this-new-mansion bubble burst I would have starved again.  Those were the good old days of non-stop building and construction over-time," said Bartholemew not mentioning that the 2008 Hank Paulson bailout provided taxpayer dollars on the premise and promise that the upside down mortgages of misinformed, ill-informed or economically adversely effected homeowners would receive debt relief.  "Another big bamboozle," said Rev. Dwyer stating "my brother-in-law got a hefty year-end bonus in 2008 for leading his Wall Street investment firm into bankruptcy. That little a-ho.....ah, dude....is....never mind."

     Reports from close to Mr. Coelho and other ADA insiders indicates that the new plan is to make ALL public bathrooms single person stalls with open access and video taped hand washing areas.   "This small change will mean that people's hand washing habits will be monitored leading top CDC administrators and Emory University Ebola researchers to articulate their support for the proposed 'Coelho Amendment' to the ADA," said Dr. Constance Crystal Washer of PFWWBNOH, People For Well Washed, But Not Overly Washed, Hands, a New York-based support group of former Hughes Tool Company and TransWorld Airways employees recovering for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
     Each stall will have a simple twist-latch for privacy that reads "Occupied-M", "Occupied-W" or "Occupied-T", but simply "Vacant" when unoccupied.  Mr. Coelho's new company incorporated in Delaware and named MWT, Inc. is expected to profit nicely from the alterations in ADA requirements.  Meanwhile, a Canadian company specializing in face recognition software in which Coelho is reported to have heavily invested named ImagisZapper, Inc. has already patented proprietary software for identifying sex offenders who might enter the common hand-washing area.  Once there, when the sex offenders are identified, software sends a silent alarm to store security personnel for what was initially a monthly monitoring fee of between $3,000-$7500 per month per retail facility.  "This was cost prohibitive," said Simon Peter Anghler, who reported to have negotiated a per incident fee of $300 per positively identified sex offender interdicted in the common area and a $750/mo base-charge.  "We are so glad that the progress continues and that we will have turned a simple common area into a place of uncommon security and safety," said Anghler who noted that an even simpler way to monitor activity is with the placement of a small identity chip under a person's skin in the shoulder region or, better still, the coming nano-particle "grain-tracker" that flows through all future U.S. water supplies like cholorine or floride.
     Critics say that the ADA legislation should not be altered and used to identify healthy and fully functioning heterosexual, bisexual, gay and lesbian or trans-gendered individuals labeling them as "disabled".  "Why can't the latches just say 'Occupied' and "Vacant'?"  Anghler noted that the latches correspond with the facial recognition software to help people be consistent in their sexual identity should they forget which they are.    "People need all the help they can get these days and should a court case ever require it we'll have a video of their hand washing habits, history of offenses and self-identified personal sexual preferences.  Well, as I see it, when it comes to this area of our existence we could all be termed 'disabled' at some level, so why all the hub-bub?" asked Anghler.  "Yes," said Rev. Dwyer in agreement stating "Beware you think you stand lest you fall....for a trans-gendered person with brown eyes and blonde hair."
