New Book On American History & Myth Coming

Historian Lowell P. Wigglesworth has announced that he is working on a new history of the U.S. based on the untold history of the American Civil War titled Swarm of Lies: Demythologizing American History and Myth. "I am delighted to have signed a contract with Belisarius Press for the publication of the untold history of the U.S. that addresses an amazing array of propagandized prevarications that have led us to exactly where we are with the only apparent choice of a Presidential candidate of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump who has announced that he might make Rudy Giuliani his head of the Department of Homeland Security....Giuliani who in 2015 left Bracewell & Giuliani and joined the former law firm of Jack Abramoff. The working title is Swarm of Lies: Demythologizing American History & Myth. It will render Howard Zinn's 1980 A People's History of the United States a nice hors d'oeuvre to a truly filling, face slapping and gut pounding meal," said Wigglesworth.

Among Wigglesworth's assertions:
- The driving motive for the U.S. Civil War was not states' rights or the ending of slavery.
- The truth about our history is not taught in public education programs.
- The 1930's "Business Plot" reported by Smedley Butler was real.
- O. John Rogge's case that a core of Fascist business leaders were leading the U.S. away from its core principles was correct.
