Timing on Penn State's Sandusky Problem Raises Questions

By-Stander Syndrome Fails To Explain Penn State/Sandusky Failure

By Winsip Custer CPW News Service

The timing on the release of the Jerry Sandusky indictment raises many questions about the forces at play in what has become a new American tragedy.
With evidence of a long standing history of pedophile activity that went unreported by many in positions of power and responsibility, more seems to be involved in the recent disclosure of Sandusky's pedophile activity than what has been called the “Bystander Syndrome”.
Brian Laminature of the citizen watchdog group, Better than Blood Hounds, sees a definite pattern in the events leading up to the release of the Sandusky indictment.  “'The Bystander Syndrome' is often cited in cases like this.  The inaction of bystanders to render aide to Kitty Genovese, for example, a woman who was repeatedly stabbed in New York with multiple witnesses failing to render help, is given as a rationale for the delay in the release of the Sandusky indictment.  Temper that with the Rodney King riots when young blacks in L.A. threw themselves between an angry mob and a desperate truck driver to save his life.  This is not about the ‘Bystander Syndrome’,” said Laminature.  “There's too many coincidences in this case when you consider the disappearance of a prominent Pennsylvania District Attorney who refused to release the indictment earlier.  Nope.  This has all the earmarks of crime family wars and retaliation.  It’s the kind of thing that if the American people don’t rise up and demand responsible leadership from their elected officials the Republic is just another passing parade of failed political experiments and profit-driven uncivil wars,” said Laminature who provided a flow chart of what he believes are key elements in the release of the Sandusky indictment and a timeline of recent events.

“The activities of Jerry Sandusky appear to have been hidden until such a time as they were needed to provide a singular, reasoned and intentional effect,” said Laminature.
