The Problem With Overkill

Overkill in the Sandbox of Bright Ideas

By Winsip Custer CPW News Service

Somewhere amid his genetic makeup, biological and psychological amalgamations or training, Mr. Whitman embraced homicide.  Or rather, homicides.  If one of something was good, many times that was even better, so like the little boy who had carried his toy shovels, rakes and hoes to the sandbox in the back yard, he hauled his rifles and ammo to the top of the University of Texas tower and began firing on the people in the streets below with exemplary accuracy.  During the autopsy following his death a rapid growing tumor was found in his brain.  The philosophy of cancer is basic: overkill.
Early cavemen may have behaved similarly and when they did, they were likely dragged to the edge of the forest clearing and into the thicket for a lesson in community rock throwing.  Overkill repeatedly arises in the sandbox of bright ideas.  Consider how the West was won.  Or more importantly, why.  Lewis and Clark were not propelled by visions of salmon fishing on the Columbia River or bear hunting in the Yukon.  Already the East Coast whalers and importers had discovered the lucrative products in the Orient and wanted to make a quicker killing in the market place at home.  This has been written about in another story called Cormac McCarthy and the White Stuff on the Road, but suffice it to say that one of the most profitable imports with the smallest transportation cost was opium.  Harvested in Turkey and Afghanistan and dumped by the American China Traders of New England just as had done the British opium smugglers, this had the long term effect of alienating the Chinese people and leaders.  “What the hell are the drug pushers doing screwing up our neighborhood?” they asked in a way similar to  the people of South and Central Los Angeles after Gary Webb’s book Dark Alliance revealed the same practice continuing on this side of the Pacific.
In an interview with American historian, Damian Romy Nation, a great, great grandson of Carrie A. Nation, this tendency to overkill was explored with great clarity.  “Carrie figured that if a really big weapon got into the hands of a bunch of drunken American Indians the Anglo-Americans would be doomed.  So she started swinging her sledge hammer and hatchet.  Ruined some really good Scotch, in my opinion and she was always fighting some Jaybird-Woodpecker War which may have been why her first husband drank himself to death before she moved South from Missouri to what is today Rand and Ron Paul's querky Congressional District in Texas, a smuggler-petro-chem hide-away if their ever was one.  This explains most of their Libertarian leanings which morphed out of a fear mongering and strickly segregationist practices into Libertarianism in this region of backwoods and bayous," said Nation.
Nation sees the taming of the American West much as this writer has.  “Yes, it was a tightly controlled stampede for the China Trade and often Christian missionaries were used as cross-cultural prostitutes of sorts.  I mean you don’t have to be too bright to see it.  Consider that the easiest route to the Pacific was across the flat Southwest from Savannah or Charleston to San Diego.  Much flatter.  No mountains.  The Indians were there, which is probably why Geronimo’s skull was carried off to Yale where the Skull and Bonesmen urinate on it.   They probably still kick it around as when Bin Laden was given his name as secret code name, but the Indians were far less of a problem than the mountains.  So what do you do to quickly lay a tightly controlled rail line across the Southwest?  You start a war with your Southern Anglo brothers and take the land away from them using the high moral ground.  You have to be weary of those taking the high moral ground, because it is usually only one foot up high.  The other is stuck in the mud.  Of course they didn't plan on Nathan Bedford Forest figuring it out.”
“Figuring what out?” I asked.  “That as misguided as Forrest was about slavery, he was clear that Confederate Genral Braxton Bragg was a sorry turncoat working for the Northern Railroad interests.  By the time Forrest figured it out the war was lost, but that was one hell of a man, Forrest.    His picture was the only one hanging in Shelby Foote’s Memphis study and remember that Foote was a protégé’ of Walker Percy….of the Percy-Pierce clan….again, the railroad barons,” said Nation who also pointed out that Shelby's research and chronicling of the Civil War was not supported by a shred of original material or investivation of any original sources. "Bragg's descendant, C. Wright Mills figured it out and wrote about it.  Some say Mills was quickly becoming an earlier version of William Ayers and Albert Lasater Maher, rejecting the family history he had inherited and then debunking it," Nation carried on.
Nation went on to explain that overkill has always trumped negotiation.  “It’s a huge snowballing effect,” he said.  “If we start a war, we can keep it going for a long time.  Our friends at Phelps-Dodge will win.   DuPont wins.  George Luther Stearns will win.  Remington will win. Colt will win.  Whitney will win.  Dow wins.  Guns and butter. One Great Society built on the backs of the Great Balls of Fire Society, with the real wealth going to an insulated elite removed from the fray.  The only real losers, they reasoned, would be the poor dumb Southerners who won’t have an inkling that we're rolling across their land NOT to liberate slaves, but to import opium to re-enslave them!   That's what Forrest understood instinctively and he felt the fool for it.  Human skunks have a more subtle aroma than the black and white fury ones, but we see in Forrest's disgust with Bragg the fact that he figured out the screwing his army of men, which included his own contigent of black body guards, was taking. That was essentially what finally came out in Gary Webb’s story Dark Alliance and bless his heart, he killed himself with two bullet wounds to the head...you have to be fast to do that.... on December 10, 2005, but not before showing the intricate relationship between our tightly controlled government of tyrants and the bull-shit that they spin for us,” said Nation.
“You were talking earlier about Mr. Whitman on top of the University of Texas Tower," said Nation.  "What a shot he was.  Just ask Robert Heard, a reporter for the Associated Press.   Heard, a student at UT, took one of Whitman’s bullets in the shoulder," he continued.
"Years earlier his older brother, an FBI agent, would lead the interviews with Albert Einstein and Robert Oppenheimer to determine their trustworthiness as leading American scientists.  They failed.  Robert Heard wrote: 'To cite a Heard connection, my brother Wyatt, as an FBI agent in the early 1950s, interviewed Einstein three or four times between late 1952 and May of 1953 at the Princeton Institute for Advanced Study. The interviews regarded security clearance for persons seeking to do nuclear research. The interviews lasted 15 or 20 minutes. Einstein cooperated fully. Keep in mind that Republican Sen. Joe McCarthy of Wisconsin dominated national news during this period with his reckless charges about communists in the government,'" quoted Nation reading Heard's words.
“Oppy”, a Jew like Einstein, was stripped of his security clearance.  Einstein was not let anywhere near the Manhattan project, but both Einstein and “Oppy” believed that overkill would reign.   "They promoted peace instead.  Edward Teller took over "Oppy's" role to continue the overkill with bigger bombs and to become the character for Dr. Strangelove while actor Dan Blocker, turned down the opportunity to ride down the bomb in the movie and the part went to actor Slim Pickens instead.   The human race, they believed is led by narrow minded, dim-witted, parochial little weasel types who want you to shove opium into a pipe and smoke it so their kids can go to school at Phillips-Exeter Academy or Vassar or Smith or Yale or Brown or Princeton,” said Nation.
“Brown. There. Follow that thought.  It would go without saying that if the railroad barons were leading the charge to the West, that someone like Alexander Brown, also an American China Trader with deep roots in England and its history of China Trading, would be leading the efforts West.  'China Trading' is a polite way of saying 'drug pusher'.  So Brown pushed West.  The Texan Indian fighter, John Henry Brown, would send to Alexander’s hometown of Baltimore and ask for the support of English speaking Catholic priests. Enter the poor Irish.  They came from the Bishops' meeting at Baltimore both before and during the Texas Revolution with the promise that they could hold on to that leg of the route without losing the Texas Irish over to the Mexican Catholics, having already lost the far western leg of the San Diego extension to the failed filibustering attempt of William Walker who would high tail it to Galveston, home of John Henry Brown, so that he could raise an army, steal a nation in Central America and cut a sea channel across Central American if the U.S. Transcontinental rail route, Southern, Central or Northern failed to materialize.  The pesky Southerns resented a Reconstruction that would have disassociated them from their assets, so the barons went with the middle route even with the moutains.  The Southern route would come ten years later after Reconstruction had ended and liberation of slaves as the motive for the war all but forgotten.  In the decades before the Civil War, you will find that future Confederate President, Jefferson Davis, was charting the rail route across the Southwest.  The South's power brokers were aware of the game.   And if I’m wrong you would not find the Texas and Mexico Railroad cutting across Texas with the help of Uriah Lott….one of the biggest transporters of drugs to this day from the orient and now Central and South America, but with cocaine instead of opium or perhaps cocaine and opium.  Hell, I’d look to Alexander Brown, progenitor of Brown Brother Harriman and then Brown & Root and KBR/Halliburton and ask if, for example, their key leaders were sent West from Brown’s hometown of Baltimore so that they could cultivate the trail with judges, sheriffs, preachers, teachers, doctors and the like who were in their back pocket.  I suppose some of these folks were sincere and hadn't a clue.  It was a subtle conspiracy.  Often motivated by culture mixed with religion, but there were also extremely ruthless culture vultures within it.  John Joel Glanton comes to mind, the subject of Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian, but his methods were an embarassment and basically peeled back the true nature of the race west....greed.  Culture, all cultures, primitive native, Greek, Roman, British, French, Spanish or American are always a two edged sword. This isn’t the same level of science that Einstein and Oppenheimer practiced and upon which the world of the future will depend more and more...and upon true religion without the sham.”
I asked Nation if John Brown, Potawatomie Brown, the radical abolitionist, was part of the Alexander Brown galaxy of players.  “What do you think?” asked Nation.  “Read the book The Secret Six and look at George Luther Stearn’s connection to Alexander and you will have your answer, but you will also need to look at Abel Stearns in charge of routing William Walker out of California.  The husband of California’s most beautiful woman and a daughter of Juan Bandini from the Bernardo Bandini family of Florence, Italy, where the American China Traders vacationed and envisioned that they were the world’s new Medici’s,” said Nation.  “But it’s all about overkill.  The buffalo herds gone.  The whales are going.  Opium and heroin is still around, but they cannot allow us to harvest poppies in our back yards in regions similar to Turkey and Afghanistan or their whole profit stream evaporates, plus the profits from the war materials in those regions will mean that an Ivy League education for their kiddos will go ‘bye-bye’,” said Nation.
“Now you’d have to expect that in the years since the discovery of nuclear energy that the feud between the oil boys and the nuke boys would be waged and that a type of shadow capital based on oil would take the place of the perceived government of the U.S..  Having gobbled up the land atop the fossil fuels in the American Southwest the thought of splitting atoms out of thin air was a bit unsettling for the China Trading, railroad laying, oil drilling, Civil War igniters.  If you think about it what better way to control the masses than with the fear that those hot little atoms would create a hugh world-wide fireball.  Better a Cold War.  Meanwhile the powerbase's big movers and shakers would control Washington from the Reconstructed South, their South, especially in Tulsa where the benchmark for oil prices was originally controlled through a single pipeline at Cushing, Oklahoma and then from  Tulsa the shift in power was to Houston. Cushing.  There’s another China Trader family, but from just up the coast from Alexander Brown’s city of Baltimore, in Boston,” said Nation.  "One of their kin would become a powerful Roman Catholic Cardinal, just as later, another of the CIA-insider families would do likewise, with Avery Dulles becoming the first American Cardinal to skip the rank of Bishop.  Dating from the Texas Revolution and before, however, the Catholics knew that they were beholding pawns of the New England Protestant Anglo community," said Nation.
“So it was.  The discrediting of Oppenheimer and Einstein, I have already mentioned, but I didn’t mention that in 1941 at the Yale Political Union debate, a young man who worked as a reporter for the Yale newspaper led the debate on war or isolationism, William Gardiner “Ted” White.  He wanted to get into the war as soon as possible citing reports from Louis Nizer and others that Hitler was the tyrant that we now know he was.  Not all Americans believed that.  Some embraced Hitler anyway as evidenced by America's titan capitalists like Ford, Firestone, Burroughs and Lindberg who approached celebrated Marine General Smedley Butler to lead a coup to overthrow FDR replacing him with their own man so we could stay out of the war, making profits from the brewing conflict in Europe and the Orient and later show our solidarity with the Germans.  White would end up the tail gunner in George Herbert Walker Bush’s torpedo bomber during the war.  White died in the back seat of the Barbara II and his story with him, which I believe would have been a really remarkable insider’s insight from one of the disillusioned elites of Yale.  But even more importantly is the Yale newspaper’s other reporter at the time. William Liscum Borden.  Borden along with Rice University President and petroleum engineer who was working on improvements in jet fuel at the time, Kenneth Pitzer, would team up to strip ‘Oppy’ and Einstein of their credibility thus further fueling Joseph McCarthy's high profile dog and pony show.  That would have been a crushing blow to peace time development of nuclear power and a boom to the petroleum cartel with its dope money from the China shippers who insured their shipments in the same way that Lloyd's of London had done with the East India Company....through AIG... the big winner in the recent  Wallstreet bail outs.  That bailout included the forced Bank of America purchase of Merrill, Lynch, Pierce Fenner and Smith, for which Don Regan, Ronald Reagan's Chief of Staff was CEO, and whose partner, Pierce can trace his history to Presiden Franklin Pierce who backed filibuster William Walker, Barbara Pierce Bush and the Percy/Pierce American family constellation.  Again, the bright idea of overkill comes into play...as in killing the American tax payers over and over and over again with both over and under the table taxes .  So what happens?  Pitzer and Borden lead the charges against Einstein and Oppenheimer and they have the interviews by FBI agent Wyatt Heard, brother of Robert Heard, who might have been, but for the grace of God, killed in Austin by ex-Marine Charles Whitman.  So the world moves another step toward the ever escalating game of overkill.  Today it is ‘terrorists’ who become such, not unlike the increasingly unwilling opium smoking Chinese, some believe because of the overkill we have practiced in China Trading, Vietnam, Cambodia and Burma, now Miranmar's Golden Triangle or Iran, Iraq, Egypt and, as shown this week, even in Libya if we are to believe the letters of Qadaffi's security chief and the testimony discovered by the group Human Rights Watch and of many former CIA agents like Robert Baer who long ago spoke out about secret CIA renditioning sites in Syria and Egypt.  Hey, and remember that Pamela Pitzer Willeford was with ‘Ole’ Dead-eye Dick Cheney’ in Texas when he decorated Harry M. Whittington’s face with buckshot.  What was that about?  Maybe Whittington got wind of White’s story or maybe he didn’t want to play ‘spin the water board’ at the ranch house that night.  So anyway, the cold war escalated and the Jews were surely thinking ‘What?  Our guys do the hard breakthroughs and aren’t good enough to be trusted?’ So the Israelites develop their own bombs after the Ruskies do theirs, everyone blaming “Oppy” while pointing to the Rosenbergs and now there’s Britain, France, China, North Korea, India, Pakistan, all the NATO nations and most of the former Soviet states with nukes to spare.  Overkill!   All as a result of distrust and dumbed down doctrines of overkill, overkill, overkill, overkill, overkill, overkill.  That ever growing, cancerious philosophy from the sandbox of human imperfections.....Overkill.”
