Vanderbilt and Redford movie, Truth, premiering on October 16, 2015, not likely to shed light on Bernie Goldberg claim

After Dan Rather and Mary Mapes' 2004 botched coverage of the testimony of the secretary from Ellington Field, Houston, Mrs. Marian Carr Knox, who typed the original memos of GWB's Texas National Guard records chronicling the concerns of his commanding officer, Bernie Goldberg claimed that "a deep throat type of chip" had told him that GWB volunteered to go to Vietnam, but that Bush lacked the requisite flying hours.
Appearing on Bill O'Reilly's program Goldberg did not provide a name, but he did provide the page number from the CBS investigation overseen by Bush lawyer Dick Thornburg and former Associated Press head, Louis Boccardi, who met with Marian Carr Knox after Rather's 60 Minute program aired. Thornburg and Boccardi claimed that Mrs. Knox recanted her story. That was a charge that her son, Patrick Carr, denied according to USA Today reports that preempted Howard Kurtz' Washington Post, September 21, 2004 article on the Rather/Mapes story.
Goldberg did not state just why Marian Carr Knox would not have mentioned Goldberg's Deep Throat assertion. That GWB held a desire to serve in Vietnam would have seemed to have been common knowledge to his fellow Air National Guard officers and Knox's sense of fair play as evidenced in her Rather interview would surely have mentioned it. It would have been common knowledge to his commanding officer who would have been desirous of Bush completing his training. Mrs. Knox, after all, typed Col. Killian's original memos. Logic and wisdom dictated, according the media watchdog group, Intentional Bloopers, that Marian Carr Knox's strong assertion that Bush's commander and fellow officers felt that he was somehow "above the law," was widely held.
"If Bush was deficient in flying hours and unable to join a U.S. military jet-powered mission over Hanoi isn't it likely that he would have been doing all he could to rack up additional hours instead of taking off for an unauthorized political campaign or avoiding a required physical? This guy Bernard Goldberg is as slippery as a MOSSAD agent in a jar of Vaseline," said Roscoe Ronaldson spokesperson for Intentional Bloopers in Peoria, Illinois.
"Bernie Goldberg's logic may play well in Haifa, but not here in Peoria," said Ronaldson.
Meanwhile, the upcoming premier of the James Vanderbilt and Robert Redford film about the 2004 media scandal is drawing attention for its handling or lack of handling of the Marian Carr Knox contribution to the unfolding criticism of Bush in 2004. The same story, known to Mary Mapes and Dan Rather in 1999 was available in 2000 when it might well have been used by Al Gore in defeating Bush whose legacy of sending American boys into battle in Iraq based on "cooked intelligence" and clearly bamboozled media manipulation has provided a mine field for the JEB Bush presidential campaign. "Stick another Bush in the White House and you're as likely to get another U.S. meltdown," said Ronaldson.
Ronaldson noted that on December 10, 2000 a 23-year-old named Patrick Carr, not Marian Carr Knox's son, who had worked with Rather's niece in Austin, Texas as evidenced by his work history, personal biography and peer acknowledgements and whose uncle was the fishing partner of William E. King, the business partner in Southwest Airport Services, the fuel concession business at Ellington Field run by GWB's Air National Guard roommate, James R. Bath, died near Ellington Field, Houston. "Patrick was murdered near Ellington Field," said the boy's father. The boy's father claims that the death, ruled a suicide by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office, provided an impossible scenario and that the Houston-based HCME would come under investigation for corruption with the investigation led by Michael Bromwich, the prosecutor in the Iran-Contra investigation. "Bromwich was as much a 'firewaller' in the Iran-Contra case as a prosecutor and with the 1992 book, The Mafia, CIA and George Bush written by Houston Post reporter Peter Brewton showing the Houston-based link between the 1980's S&L scandal and the Iran-contra criminals and you can see why there was the attack on Mrs. Marian Carr Knox and Patrick Carr her son. Pat Tillman, the rescue of Jessica Lynch and where he co-wrote the biography of General David Petraeus with Mrs. Paula Broadwell which lost for General Petraeus his position as Director of CIA. And now you understand just why the Washington Post's Jeff Leen skewered the work of Gary Webb whose Dark Alliance was beholding to Peter Brewton's prior work in Texas and why both Leen and Loeb's boss at the Washington Post, Steve Coll, is now the Dumbledore at Columbia University's Journalism School as the Henry Luce Professor of Journalism and Dean of the Department," said Ronaldson.

The daughter of Houston FBI agent, Bronislaw Mogenis, was contacted by Patrick Carr's father who was contacted by Houston Judge, former FBI agent and daughter of Bronislaw, Julie Mogenis, owner of Third Eye Investigations to help her in the family's search for the killers and to reopen the case. Judge Mogenis, a noted hunting expert in Texas, suffered a near fatal gunshot wound on December 8, 2004 two days before the "suicide" of Gary Webb on the anniversary of the murder of William Patrick Carr near Ellington Field. This led to the following from Judge Mogenis' Youtube page that described her ordeal:
In 2009, Houston Mayor Bill White, forced the Houston Airport Systems Directory, Richard Vacar, to resign on short notice. Under his leadership the system that included the two largest Houston commercial airports and the CIA-linked Ellington Field had also developed contractual relationships with the major airports of Equador and Costa Rica.

Mr. Gage, that's really boorish
stuff. In 2001 I phoned the former Deputy Director of the FBI and told
him I needed help. My son had been murdered in Houston near Ellington
Field where GWB had been stationed in 1972 and whose story concerning his
National Guard record would come out in 2004 with Dan Rather and Mary Mapes
whose film Truth directed by James Vanderbilt and starring Robert Redford will
come out on October 16, 2015. The Rather story depended on the testimony
of the secretary of GWB's commander at Ellington. The
secretary was totally believable though Rather and Mapes could not have
botched the story any more deliberately if they had tried. Had they
considering that Rather owned a ranch in Las Vegas, New Mexico with Donald
Rumsfeld? The secretary's son....same name as my son, while my son
had worked with Rather's niece, Rebecca, in Austin before
moving to Houston where his uncle, my brother-in-law, was the business partner
of GWB's ANG roommate. The GWB ANG story went all
the way back to 1972 and, naturally, in 2000 when it would have been helpful in
thwarting the national butt raping we all received from 2000-2008, it was
absent from the scene. Lt. Gov. Ben Barnes who knew how to make it public
said "Gore didn't need it." After my son's death in
2000 I called my friend the FBI director who choked up over the phone and said
that his grandson in Dallas had died of an
unbelievable apparent suicide the day after my son. His car found
two blocks from his house on the side of the road with the door open, but his
body found in his father's closet. Both boys' deaths were
suspicious and in my son's case impossible from the vantage point of the Harris
County Medical Examiner's office which was under a cloud. We hired the
best fire cause investigator and CO poisoning investigator in the country and
there were witnesses who saw a blue van coming from the scene an hour before the
crime that would match the color of the Harris County Fire Department's crime scene van,
but held three or four men, not one as was always the case the case with the
HFD. Who did they bring in later to clean up the Harris County Medical
Examine's office? The firewaller in the Iran-Contra case, Michael
Bromwich. So anyway, I ask the FBI director for help and he gives me the
name of Bronislaw Mogenis, Julie's father, a respected FBI agent like Julie
before becoming a judge in Houston. For four years from 2000 to 2004 I'm
digging for answers and have only one that seems plausible. Julie
couldn't take the case, but referred me to a postal inspector turned lawyer
and private eye named Gregory Howard Walker* who would go on to handle the
security for Bush International, Hobby and Ellington Fields. The
Iran-Contra network in Houston included the S&L scandal players....one
and the same..... as evidenced by Peter Brewton's book The Mafia, CIA and
George Bush which Simon and Schuster derailed in 1992 before the
Bush/Clinton/Perot election. Yea, the 1972 story was available in '92,
but would have had even less effect on GHWB's election so why bother? In
1996-98 Gary Webb was working on his Iran-Contra drug connection book that
links with Brewton's work in Houston. Webb will reference Brewton in a
debate over the book with Jeff Leen of the Washington Post who skewers Webb for
the WP whose former editor and author of the Pat Tillman, Jessica Lynch
and Paula Broadwell stories is now the Managing Editor at the Houston
Chronicle, Brewton's competitor. On December 10, 2004 Gary Webb
died of a suicide in California with two shots to the head. It was ruled
a suicide. Two days before that in Utopia, Texas Julie was
"accidentally shot" in a "firing mishap".
Try to find the name of the accidental shooter! December 10, 2004 was
four years to the day of the death of my son near Ellington Field.
