and the Yale Political Union Debate of 1941

      In 1940, the question of whether or not the United States would enter World War II was up in the air.  As the winds of war blew across Europe and the Orient, a leading American-Jewish lawyer, Louis Nizer, spoke openly about Nazi atrocities against Jews, Gypsies, the handicapped and confessing Christians.  His warnings fell on many deaf ears.
      That same year he published Thinking On Your Feet, (Liveright Publishers, NY).  This book became not only a textbook for aspiring campus debaters wishing to get pointers from some of history’s top orators, but it was also a repository of searing arguments as to why America should get involved in the war quickly.  Nizer believed that it was no time to sleep.  The real awakening would not come until December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

In 1944 as Allied victory seemed imminent Louis Nizer would go on to write What To Do With Germany (Ziff-Davis Publishing, NY, 1944), a book so powerful in its arguments that it was given by General Dwight D. Eisenhower to all of his top military brass working in post-war Germany.  An analyst of the inner workings of the Nuremberg Trials, Nizer would go on to become chief counsel to the Motion Picture Industry of America where he would eventually work alongside Jack J. Valenti to develop the motion picture rating system used today.  Nizer would also be a leading defender of the Warren Commission Report on the murder of John F. Kennedy, leading some to speculate that his distrust of U.S. Ambassador, Joseph P. Kennedy, JFK's father whose support of Germany led to his recall by FDR, was flavored by the Holocaust.

A possessor of Louis Nizer’s just published book, Thinking on Your Feet, was a prominent Yale student, William Gardner “Ted” White (Yale Skull and Bones, ’42, b. 2/25/1918).  White, also on the staff of the Yale News, the campus newspaper, was doing extra-circular work with Yale’s Navy ROTC and its torpedo bomber squadron.  In the coming months many of Yale’s ROTC cadets would be appointed to the aircraft carrier, USS San Jacinto, in the South Pacific.  Before Yale, White had attended Hotchkiss School where Henry Ford, Jr and his brothers, Henry Luce and future CIA director, Porter Goss spent their pre-collegiate years.

 

The eighteen highlighted marginal notations in White’s copy of Nizer’s book, may serve as a map of White’s youthful thought processes.  Purchased from Minneapolis bookseller, Robert W. Reiner, and believed to have been originally in the possession of the estate of White’s sister, Barbara White Bemis, wife of Minnesota packaging magnate, Judson Bemis, the book shines a light on young White’s preparation for the Yale Political Union debate on November 11, 1941.

While it would take a spectroscopic analysis of the pencil carbon to compare the eighteen markings with White’s verified signature to be absolutely sure, the marginal notations are not unlike a time capsule.   “Japan may be indulging in her old hobby of collecting China; Italy may be scrambling Spanish omelets, Germany is becoming the mistress of the seize---but even the dictators realize that neither their own countries nor the world can be indefinitely suppressed.” (p. 254). 

In the chapter titled “A Wedding Toast” there is marked the words... “Someone has described marriage as a pair of shears, united, inseparable, sometimes moving in opposite directions, but always destroying anything that comes between them.” (Nizer, p. 262).   Did White have a girl in mind?  America’s commitment to Winston Churchill’s Britain and America’s dowry-like Lend-Lease program supporting them?  Perhaps the marriage of Yale’s right and left political wings...the intermarriage of America’s old money elites and their desire to have no one coming between them to threaten their position of prominence...especially not an untimely foreign war?

The Yale Political Union was a debate group formed in the 1930’s to help enlighten the student body about the burning issues of the day. 

In 1941 the Yale Political Union had already debated the subject of banning union workers from campus employment.  Since Hitler was going after trade unionists, communists, Jews, Gypsies, outspoken Christians, the mentally challenged and others, it was a heated debate.

Yale students were by in large the sons of America’s wealthiest industrialists and it took great courage to take a stand for common laborers in such a high-profile pocket of America’s classic robber-baron families.   When it was learned in the 1980’s that one of Yale’s leading professors, Hendrik de Man, had ties to Nazi Germany, some wondered if the proclivity to overlook international tyranny was entrenched at Yale.  Connections between Yale family dynasties to Nazi connected companies like IG Farben and Hitler’s Thyssen Bank were gradually coming to light in the post-war period. These connections were generally suppressed after the war by Cold War concerns about the rising threat of communism and by revisionist historians working to erase the memory of pre-war economic ties to Germany and Japan.

Supporting the call to arms in 1941, along with William Gardner White was Yale professor, Samuel Flagg Bemis, AKA “U.S. Flagg” Bemis, who arrived on the Yale campus from George Washington University in 1935 to become the Sterling Professor of Diplomatic History and Inter-American Relations.  In 1947 he would argue that the political baggage of the historical revisionists acquired through their connections with isolationism in the inter-war period fueled the flames of war in Europe and the Pacific.  Bemis wrote: “It is difficult to see how there can be any doubt but that the United State and the whole Western Hemisphere would have been in great peril, whether immediate or proximate, had President Roosevelt stood by with arms folded around the new neutrality laws and permitted Hitler, Mussolini, and Japan to have overturned the balance of power by a defeat of Great Britain and the Commonwealth whether in the Atlantic or the Pacific, Southeast Asia, India , or Australia.”  (American Foreign Policy and the Blessings of  Liberty, presidential address delivered on December 29, 1961 at the American Historical Association and printed in American Historical Review 67:2, January,  1961, pp. 291-305.)

     By October 20, 1942 the U.S. government ordered the seizure of the Nazi Germany’s banking operations in New York.  FDR’s Alien Property Custodian, Leo Crowley, enforced Vesting Order Number 248 seizing the property of Prescott Bush, father of George Herbert Walker Bush and grandfather of George Walker Bush, under the Trading with the Enemy Act  (recorded in Federal Register, November 7, 1942). The order was kept out of the news and published only in obscure government record books, but it cited the Union Banking Corporation’s (UBC) fiduciary relationship to Hitler’s money-man Fritz Von Thyssen through Berlin’s Thyssen-Bank.

None would have been closer to the convoluted connections of America’s wayward industrialists than the sons of Yale’s privileged families.  These students, still young and relatively innocent were not yet fully indoctrinated in the concept of... “it’s JUST business!”.   America’s military industrialist complex showed a rising proclivity to make money from both sides of every world conflict.  None knew this better than the Bemis-White-Gardner clan, tied as they were to the heartland, packaging of farm products and a deep sense of Jeffersonian values.  With their abiding interest in history, they weren’t likely to forget the past.  Remembering was no problem, but going against the unwritten directives of the established order was a significant one.

When discussions at Yale shifted in 1941 from labor issues to whether the US should be isolationist or interventionist with respect to the war, the labor debate was still ringing in young William Gardner White’s ears.  The two issues were indissoluble and White’s interventionist leanings found significant support from Yale’s President Charles Seymour as well as other faculty members including Lt. Commander. W. H. Gardner (Yale ,1916), perhaps a relative of William Gardner White.  Lt. Commander W.H. Gardner had created the Yale heritage of an organic union with the ROTC torpedo bomber squadron.   At the same time, Yale’s William Allen White, perhaps another relative, had organized the Committee to Defend America which vehemently argued for rapid deployment of American troops to help quell the rising treat.

Opposite William Allen White’s Committee to Defend America was General Robert Elkington Wood. Wood’s America First Committee was the leading proponent of American isolationism.  Wood, a top executive with Sears and Montgomery Ward, his son, Robert Whitney Wood, was also a politically active Republican who agitated openly against U.S. involvement in war.  Wood was America First Committee’s first chairman and a strong supporter of Senator Joseph McCarthy’s 1950’s investigation of suspected communists.  Wood later served on the board of United Fruit, a company with large land holdings in Nicaragua and purchased in 1969 by George Herbert Walker Bush’s Zapata Petroleum. These Nicaraguan assets and the need to protect them were clearly linked to Bush’s well-documented covert support of the Iran-Contra cause in the 1980’s, a program that brought indictments of Oliver North, John Poindexter, and Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger...all of whom received Presidential pardons.

            Wood’s closest associates at American First were Henry Ford, the car manufacturer, and Charles Lindbergh, the great American pilot and holder of the record for the first transatlantic flight.  Lindbergh had been adamant in his assertion that the American and European Jews were forcing America into the conflict along with the British and the Roosevelt administration...a view flatly denied by most Americans according to some historians.

            Western Judaism has always been anti-primogeniture and distrusting of monarchical models of leadership.  They are rightfully nervous about climbing anyone’s pyramid.  King David, leader of Israel’s Golden Age, was the last born son of Jesse of Bethlehem and the least likely to have been leadership material.  Within a hundred and fifty years of its independence from Britain, America was forgetting this liberating fact and none more than the families of America’s industrialists who had rediscovered that keeping “Junior” as chairman of the board of limited liability companies would insure that the family dynasties would remain intact from generation to generation.  In the years since the American Revolution with leadership coming from anti-monarchical Free Masons like Washington and Franklin, a new monarchical model of Free Masonry had evolved through Albert Pike, the father of Scottish Rite Masonry.  Pike, a Roman Catholic, unified Tory elements in the American Colonies beginning with Savannah, Georgia while gathering within their ranks uninformed non-Scottish Rite Masons who knew little about Pikes background, nor of his position as Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan in Arkansas where he was writing for a Jacobite Scottish magazine published in Edinburgh. On the surface the inclusion of "Scottish" in their secret rites engendered feelings of freedom and liberty, but Pike's sympathies were far removed from the political and religious sympathies of men like Scottish anti-monarchical reformer John Knox.
     Albert Pike had succeeded in aligning the Scottish Rite in the U.S. with its Italian counterpart in the Southern port city of New Orleans, Louisiana.  This alliance informs the misinformation shared by most Americans including leading Hollywood movie director, Francis Ford Coppola, whose God Father trilogy shows the Italian organized crime invasion coming through New York. The Italian wing of the Pike's group is directly linked with the beginnings of the Italian Mafia while Pike's influence on the KKK was so brutal that its founder, General Nathan Bedford Forrest, left the group in 1869 according to historians Shelby Foote and Ken Burns.  Foote and Burns' views on Forrest were challenged by the University of Arkansas' leading historian, Walter Lee Brown, himself a member of Pike SR group.
     Remaining within Pike's sphere of influence was the state of Arkansas where future underworld cabals would include the  creation of the international renegade banking concern known as BCCI and implicated in the Iran-Contra scandal that led to indictments of some of America's leading political figures.  The Bank of Commerce and Credit International was called by reporters "The Bank of Crooks and Criminals" with its close connection to Little Rock, Arkansas' leading bankers including Jackson T. Stephens.


      The Yale Political Union's leadership would have been aware that following the English Civil War in the 17^th Century, Oliver Cromwell repatriated the Jews of Europe who had been exiled by Edward I, Longshanks, centuries earlier.   Cromwell did so for two apparent reasons.  As some of Europe’s best artisans the Jews could help rebuild Britain and as a people with a long history of distrust of kings, the Jews were excellent allies for Cromwell’s parliamentary government.

Wisdom dictated that William Gardner “Ted” White be well-prepared for the upcoming Yale Political Union’s war debate.   Sometime after its 1940 publication date and subsequent release, White acquired his copy of the first edition, first printing of Nizer’s book.  He signed it in pencil with “W. Gardner White.”   Then there’s the marginal notations highlighted with eighteen pencil marks (pp. 107, 110, 111, 119, 120, 136, 147, 236, 237, 242, 252, 253, 254, 255, 262, 263, 279, 287). 

Among the passages highlighted are Nizer’s words...“Justice Stone once gave me this advice for a lawyer:  “If you are strong on the facts but weak on the law, discuss the facts.  If you are strong on the law and weak on the facts, discuss the law.  If you are weak on the law and the facts, bang the table!” (Nizer, p. 107). 

Then there’s the highlighted story in the chapter on Robert F. Wagner, champion of the “Magna Carta of US Labor” the Wagner Act, of how Michael Angelo painted convincing stress cracks on his frescoes when the Pope refused to help shore up the frail building that contained his artwork.   Michael Angelo’s request for reinforcement to protect his cultural icons had been refused by the Pope until the artist helped the Pontiff to envision the future without the added bracing (Nizer, p. 138).  Was young White wondering how to help his fellow Yale students envision the crumbling world stability and the danger of America's lethargy?  

William Gardner White’s contemporary opponent at Yale was William Liscum Borden, an active voice in campus politics in 1941 and business manager of the Yale News.  One can only imagine the heated discussions that transpired between Borden and White, both Yale News staff members.  Borden had been preceded at Yale by William Whiting Borden (Yale 1905), son of wealthy U.S. industrialist Gail Borden whose initial fortunes were gained in creating his canned "meat cake" for the U.S. Army and then pasteurized milk.  William L. Borden was a leading missionary to Northern China's Inland China Mission.

Following the war, William Liscum Borden would become, with Dr. Kenneth Pitzer a leader in the attack on scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer.    President of Houston’s Rice University, future home of the James A Baker Center for Public Policy,   Pitzer, along with Borden, were the key witnesses against the Manhattan Project’s "father of the atom bomb".  Rice University was heavily underwritten by Houston's oil empire and James A. Baker's family had long been leading lawyers for the E.H. Harriman's Union Pacific Railroad.

     The Yale Political Union had been created by Alfred Whitney Griswold, a history professor at Yale and like William Gardner White, a former student at the prestigious Hotchkiss School during his college preparatory years.  Mr. Griswold was a descendant of Eli Whitney, inventor of the cotton gin which figured prominently into the changing economy of the South as well as the changing fabric styles made possible by new blends of cotton and silk from China.

     Texas remained deeply tied to the Northeastern establishment even across the nation’s bloody Civil War and the radical views of Albert Pike would be complimented by the eugenics program of the Harriman backed Cold Spring Harbor genetics experiments.  Author Edwin Black has meticulously documented the Cold Spring Harbor connections to Nazi eugenics and racial purity programs in his landmark book, War Against The Weak...a book that like Christian T. Miller's Blood Money, Col. Daniel Martin's The Expendable Elite or General Smedley Butler's War Is A Racket... shines a piercing light into America's dark alliances.

Bush’s Crawford, Texas ranch.

     Averill Harriman of Brown Brother's Harriman.... E. H. Harriman being founder of the Union Pacific Railroad... was one of the last New York politicians connected to the remnants of the Tammany Hall political machinery.

     Suffice it to say that America’s military has a longstanding connection with the  historic railway “pipeline” stretching from the population and manufacturing centers of the Northeast through Washington to Texas.  Running through that pipeline in the early years was cattle, cotton, copper, silver, gold, sulfur, wood, butter and guns.  By the twentieth century it flowed with oil.  Not surprising, for decades the benchmark price for American oil was set in a town where the pipelines converged in Cushing, Oklahoma.

     When a scratchy copy of a home movie showed a USS San Jacinto pilot being pulled from the Pacific ocean onto a waiting submarine, the USS Finback,  William Gardner White was not aboard the small rubber raft, nor was the plane’s radio operator, John Delaney.   Back on board the USS San Jacinto Chester Mierzejewski, waited patiently to hear details of how his friends had died.  Mierzejewski had the clearest view of the plane as tail gunner of the squadron commander’s plane. 

     Was he satisfied with the explanation?  Apparently not, for during the 1988 political campaign that used the film, Mierzejewski was quoted as saying “I don’t want to get involved politically,” but he admitted that the discrepancies in the accounts of the two deaths troubled him.

     Oddly, on the morning of September 2, 1944, a year in which it has been widely reported that some prominent American companies were still violating restrictions against trading with the enemy, Lieut. J.G., U.S.N.R. Aviation officer, William Gardner “Ted” White, uncharacteristically replaced the regular tail gunner aboard the Grumman Avenger torpedo bomber, Barbara II. 

     As White and Delaney’s plane made its run on the radar installation at Chichi Jima in the Bonin Islands, it was piloted by a man who on November 11, 1941, the occasion of the Yale Political Union debate on war over which William Gardner White presided, had been a seventeen year old Phillips Exeter Academy student in New Hampshire... George Herbert Walker Bush.  William Gardner “Ted” White’s father had been a Yale classmate of Prescott Bush  a couple of decades earlier.

     Stanford professor, Anthony C. Sutton, in America’s Secret Establishment (Trine Day Press, 1983) claims that Yale has held a unique place in the pantheon of America’s political powerhouses.  In 2006, actor, director and producer, Robert DeNiro, directed a film titled The Good Shepherd, an expose’ of Yale’s Skull & Bones secret society.  An Italian mobster, after mentioning the unique contributions of the Irish, Italians and African Americans and asking “What do you have?” is told  “We have the United States.  The rest of you are visitors.”  That was after an initiation rite that included disgusting forms of humiliation by the “good shepherd’s” elders in the Skull & Bones brotherhood. (former presidential strategist and author, Kevin Phillips, has validated Sutton’s work in American Dynasty:  Aristocracy, Fortune and Deceit in the House of Bush, Viking Press, NY, 2004)

     Within this secret establishment, a senior society that, like typical college campus clubs is based on class privilege, there is a purposeful dialectic that controls both the right and left wings of political thinking.   According to Sutton, liberal and conservative, free-market and socialistic ideologies are bracketed together within the society’s purview in order to keep the elites in power regardless of the pendulum’s swing.  If this is true, as Sutton has claimed, William Gardner “Ted” White may well have found himself in the pit of the pendulum with more enemies around him than simply puppets of Hitler, Mussolini and Hirohito, but not because of choosing one ideology over the other.  According to Sutton, the order allows for that!  What it does not allow for is sincerity.  If White’s notations in Nizer’s book are any clue at all, then they suggest that White’s sin was believing that there was goodness, virtue, selfless empathy and a moral compass in the human heart...deep down...even in the darkest of human hearts.

     White’s “sin” was in not understanding fully the price of admission into the established “order”.   For the single-minded citizen, molded as they often are by deep religious sentiment, there is no guarantee of a danger-free ride.  The only synthesis for any dialectic that sees power as its ultimate goal...is inevitably war, death, skulls and bones. William Gardner “Ted” White ,  Louis Nizer  and others were pursuing something else...the simple belief that when a nation finds itself deep in the heart of darkness, good people must seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with each other....which come to think of it would be a simple fulfillment of that Golden Rule celebrated in some form or fashion by all of the world's major religions and conveniently glossed over by its non-practicing practitioners.

The Down Side of Innovation

“Build it and they will come.”

“Build a better mouse trap and people will beat a path to your door.”

    We have heard this wisdom associated with new ideas all of our lives.  How well do these tidbits hold up in real life?

     John DeMerit of the Association for the Study of Good Ideas Gone Wrong says “you don’t have to look hard to find them.  The Titanic.  Tamiflu,  Thalidomide, DDT, Zyklon B, Donald Rumsfeld as Defense Secretary, the CIA's initial support of dictators Saddam Hussain and Augusto Pinoche'.  Giving Enron an incorporation certificate.”

     “It’s not that hard to see the down side of apparently stellar ideas that turn into black holes and dark stars.  I was moving a four hundred year old antique and my wife didn’t want to move her china collection out of it before we jockied it across the floor.  She had heard of “sliders” that placed under a 3000 lb. automobile could be used to move it across a room on a carpet.  The antique was eight feet tall, ten feet long and about two feet deep.  It had glass shelves and mirrors.  We rocked four of its six legs onto the sliders and believing that was enough to provide the clearance we needed, we pushed it across the carpet.  An unseen ridge under the rug knocked off the middle two legs and the whole thing fell into a pile of wood, broken mirrors, china and glass in the center of the room.  Half the china was salvaged.  The remainder was made into a garden tile tableau table that the birds uses as a privy.”
     The advertising firm that promoted the "sliders" on TV used a car, according to DeMerit, because they are heavy and cumbersome when parked, but cars are associated with the same industry that provided the materials in the "sliders".....petro-chemicals.  The subconscious mind relates the two.....they are both movers!  DeMerit believes that the same statement could be made by using a two ton block of granite stone now that it has claimed its place in the kitchen and bath make-over market in the wake of the housing bubble and increase in home remodeling.  People are staying put and justify the previously prohibitive outlays.   Granite was too high an expenditure except for the wealthiest of institution such as banks, insurance companies and government buildings which needed pricey symbols of permanence as part of their marketing message.  The crumbling American family desires to send the same camouflaging message.

     "So anyway," said DeMerit, "I paid $8 each for two four-packs of sliders.  That’s $16.  I drove ten miles each way to get them for $2.00 in gas.  It took me an hour to get to Lowes, get the sliders and return home.  If I was paid a minimum wage of $7.00 an hour that means I spent $25 to trash my antique worth about $5000 including the plates, cups and saucers.  The sliders were of plastic costing about $1.00 to make and package.  Unloading the china cabinet would have taken ten minutes and cost nothing. 

     In 1855 California Governor turned U.S. Senator Milton S. Latham of the San Francisco and London Bank presented a bill to the Senate with these words…..

“A far greater obstacle to our trade with China is the tenacity with which the Chinese, and, more or less, all Eastern peoples, cling to their established customs and usages.  There is no such thing as ‘fashion’ in China, it being an act of piety in a Chinaman to eat, drink, dress, ride and walk like his ancestors.  Nothing in China grows old, or out of date, and there is, consequently, no scope for innovation.”


     Latham's compromised leadership in the American-London banking industry was coupled with his push for a privatized, yet government-back mail service to the Orient that like the British East India Company, found fortunes in opium sales to poor, tradition bound, Chinese.   It was Latham's total misread of the Chinese proclivity to acquiesce to the Western values, especially following the Western flood of Middle East opium into China, that led to the recent Senate and Congressional sensitivity training mandated by each body.

    With the arrival of Pope Benedict in Mexico to celebrate his first visit to the world's largest representation of Roman Catholics many Mexican school students vowed to learn Latin and Italian while cities on the Pope's itinerary celebrated the hope of increased tourism.

   The author of the viral video of Joseph Kony the African warlord who has brutally murdered thousands, Jason Russell, has been reported to be psychotic in San Diego.  According to the Associated Press, when police arrived to find Mr. Russell mumbling incoherently, banging his fists against the pavement, he was wearing only his underwear.  Family members indicated that Russell’s state was not due to drugs or alcohol, but to brief reactive psychosis.  Some experts indicate that brief reactive psychosis may also be an indicator of the on-set of deep psychological issues including schizophrenia.
    Kony, the current leader of Ughanda, Africa is a self-proclaimed spiritual medium who combines local folk religion with fundamental Christianity.  Desirous of turning Ughanda into a theocracy with the Ten Commandments harmonized with local customs, Kony's leaders are seeking ways to exempt child sex slaves and child soldiers from any apparatent prohibition within the new theocracy's laws.

     WFAA Dallas’ Byron Harris reported on March 21, that orthodontist, Dr. Richard Malouf, made false tooth claims against Medicaid.  Malouf, who owns a mansion and jet airplane is owner of All Smiles Dental Centers that claim to make teeth straight, but which uses crooked means to bilk the U.S. government Medicaid system of millions.

     “This follows a 10-month News 8 investigation of medicaid orthodontics in Texas, which found the state spends more on braces for poor children than the rest of the nation combined,” wrote Byron Harris.
     While most private pay orthodontic patients receive 12 annual visits to their orthodontists per year, the poor Texas patients, 90% of whose services were unnecessary, had an average annual visits of 22 per year. They were often recruited for services in front of the state’s welfare offices.  One spouse of a Texas Orthodontist who is also being investigated said "the nation is going to hell in a hand basket paying the bill for all these poor minority kids on welfare and I'd leave the country if I could," said the spouse driving out of the dental office parking lot in a new Mercedes.

When I confronted my own dentist about it he said ‘hey, you have to go out there kill something and drag it home.  If its got a little mud on it when it comes through the front door, can you help it?”

Bush was in office and his good buddy from Texas, now Governor of Florida, Rick Scott, former head of Columbia/HCA Hospitals had the biggest Medicare/Medicaid fraud fine in U.S. history,” said Vocale.  "I expect that Mr. Scott will go into managing a chain of dental offices after leaving public office," said Vocale. 

     Vocale says that Florida and Texas share deep ties dating back to the incorporation of the Bonnie Blue battle flag of Western Florida in the State flag of Texas, but with a clearer unveiling of the connections in recent years with GWB and brother Jeb, Governors of both states and followed by Columbia/HCA's Rick Scott, the states have become havens for a hodge podge of "ruthless little bastards" including the Butterfly Doctor, Dr. Wayne McGuire of United Health.  "This is a carpet bagging tactic of a typical Connecticut Yankee," said Robert E. Lee Forrest a retired orthodontist in Mobile, Alabama.  "Come to think of it, in 2008 to 2010 George Walker Bush, more a Connecticut Yankee than a Texan was pushing this crap under the myth that deregulation was good for the nation.  Carpet bagging continues.  Especially in Texas," said Forrest.

     Returning to the Bill Maher program to provide the “other side of the story” of the heartbreak of American poverty and ignorance, Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, made a personal appearance to justify her film.  Pelosi provided Part 2 of a video aimed at countering criticism that she had simply targeted toothless, ignorant Mississippians in her Part I last week.

     Believing that her short film of interviews with the unemployed from her own neighborhood in New York City would receive the wrath of liberals just as Part I had triggered a Conservative backlash, Pelosi filmed an array of welfare trampoline bouncers who fail to launch on purpose.   Maher who gave a million dollars to the Obama campaign said that he just wanted to give the poor toothless Dixie doodles some new teeth and that he hoped Obama would make provisions for that possibility in the future.  New York’s self-professed government handout hoarders were less to Maher’s liking.  They were, however, more likely than the self-sufficient Southerners to take Maher up on his offer....if not of the new teeth... then of the money equal to the offer.

     Portland wasn’t sure about how to assess Alexandra Pelosi.  “There she was telling us that the $7 billion spent on welfare was paltry compared to the $700 billion Pentagon defense budget and ‘look what you get for 10 times the amount.’  I thought 'Yea, a rip off artist who shoots sixteen innocent civilians.'  I happened to think that the poor welfare bilkers and the toothless Dixie doodles should work for food, clothing and shelter in one of the U.S. wars like the one protecting the opium crops in Afghanistan.  They'd better understand the plight of other poor people and have some empathy, I think,” said Portland.  “Then when they’ve had enough and figured out what we are really doing there, they can come back here and start a revolution,” said Portland.  "That otta' make Bill Maher really happy!"

     If Americans had the sinking feeling that the multi-billion dollar Wall Street bailout had the gagging effulgence of a prison privy in June, that assessment has been affirmed by Judge Jed Rekoff.

     When Henry Paulson, Ben Bernanke and Timonthy Geitner summoned the leading U.S. bankers to the table to tell them that they had to accept U.S. Government bailout money, Ken Lewis, the CEO of Bank of America balked.  Lewis’ bank was solvent and he did not want their handout. Neither did he want to be forced to use it to purchase a troubled Merrill Lynch.  Paulson and his cronies held a political gun to Lewis' head with dire ramnifications for his healthy bank. It was prologomena for a future take-over.  Otherwise, Paulson would have insisted that one of the other deeply troubled bail out recipient banks at the table would use the TARP money to buy Merrill Lynch.  Not Lewis' bank.

     “Too bad,” said Jim Ponti Bishop, president of the Center for The Study of Government Fraud, Waste and Corruption.  “When Lewis said ‘no’ Paulson held a political gun to Lewis' head and forced him to take it, then turned around and forced him to use the money to buy Merrill Lynch, formerly Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith, with the "Pierce" being the family of former First Lady Barbara Pierce Bush an ancestor of President Franklin Pierce who was a consistent backer of reckless filibusterer William Walker.  "‘Filibusterer’ is another term for ‘thief’,” said Bishop.  “So Merrill Lynch took the new cash infusion to pay record bonuses to its bevy of pirating purse snatchers,” Bishop continued while noting the company's legal problems, the S.E.C.'s roll in softening the judgment followed by Bishop's reference to the recent New York Times editorial by a Goldman Sachs insider that saw the Wall Street underwriting behemoth as ethically bankrupt.

       Bishop noted, too, that this is where Judge Rekoff came into the picture.  The S.E.C. helped to negotiate a lenient settlement and a monetary judgement levied against Merrill Lynch with a disclaimer that the companies involved do not admit any wrongdoing.  Rekoff believes it’s impossible to determine where the money went with such an agreement... like pronouncing forgiveness without the requirement of repentance. "That was the whole point," he said.  It looked like a RICO violation at the highest levels of the Federal Government and "with the fines going back to the screwed-up U.S. government...what a mess!" Bishop asserted.

     An earlier attempt was made by Sanford I. Weill, head of Travelers Insurance, a CitiGroup partner, to take over as head of Bank of America.  This move was stopped along with a simultaneous attempt by Weill, reported by journalist Jamie Dixon in 2002, to take over Merrill Lynch.   The Paulson decision in 2008 ironically played right into Weill’s earlier plans for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch.

     CitiGroup, a major player in the sub-prime lending fiasco, paid out over $3 billion in fines and legal settlements for their role in financing Enron Corporation.  In 2003, Citigroup paid $145 million in fines and penalties to settle claims by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Manhattan district attorney's office. In 2005, Citigroup paid $2 billion to settle a lawsuit filed by investors in Enron. In 2008, Citigroup paid $1.66 billion to the Enron Bankruptcy Estate. In 2004, Citigroup faced a $2.65 billion fine to settle a lawsuit concerning their role in selling stocks and bonds for WorldCom. WorldCom collapsed in 2002 in an accounting scandal.  Three years later, Citigroup paid $75 million to settle a lawsuit from investors in Global Crossing, which filed bankruptcy in 2002. Citigroup’s leaders were accused of issuing exaggerated research reports, of not disclosing conflicts of interest and other ethics violations.

     Citi Group continues to play a key part in the leadership of the Obama White House.  This is evidenced by the reporting of Bill Moyers who with the clarion warning of David Stockman, Ronald Reagan's Budget Director, has traced the Citi Group power linkages through the Obama White House.

     Bishop said that he had tried to find out more about the sense of entitlement that seems to be the normal business practice at Travelers, Merrill Lynch, and especially CitiGroup.  “I went to a board meeting of the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas to see if I could corner CitiGroup’s senior attorney, Lyndon Olson, the former Ambassador of Sweden, but he was not available.  Olson's appointment as Ambassador to Sweden is shadowed by the appointment by George W. Bush of Michael Melville Wood as Ambassador to Sweden from 2006-2009, whose connection to the American lacquer and paint industry and its connection to the propaganda of Cold War fear mongering for profit has been covered extensively by Winsip Custer.  I tried to get Jack Hightower, also on the hospital’s board to help set up a meeting, but he was not available either.    I thought ‘I sure hope that Jack Hightower is a relative of Jim Hightower of the Texas Observer so that we can get some help in raising the consciousness of the people to this travesty of taxpayer raping and pillaging.  Jim Hightower would surely call these arrogant bastards what they are….tell-tale turd tillers….pure slime slushers….corrupt crap colanders….no good God damned shit sifters.   I went to Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas at its beautiful campus adjacent to the Scottish Rite Dormitory at the University of Texas….same school where GWB privatized the public university’s endowment system to make it easier to divert taxpayer’s money into military industrialist investments with Carlyle Group, KBR and other sweethearts.  Bill Moyers blew the clarion call on that one too, by exploring the concept of "inverted totalitarianism".  Lyndon Olson, CitiGroup’s long-time attorney, is on the Board of the Seminary.  I thought, ‘what an excellent place to put the question to him,’ but unfortunately I caught the flu and flew home without the interview I had sought,” said Bishop.  "Took a dose of Roche's Tamiflu, but it didn't help.  Then I found out that the flu epidemic that Bush had used to scare the bejeebies out of us was a sham and that Tamiflu, which Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had a part in developing just as he had Aspartame for J.D. Searle, was worthless as a flu medicine, but that the U.S. military and government had stockpiled billions of dollars of the crap at taxpayers expense making Roche and Rumsfeld rich in the process."

He's been seen wearing Gucci sunglasses and his red Prada loafers earned him the title of Accessorizer of the Year by Esquire. Now the pope has his own scent. An Italian perfume maker was commissioned by the Vatican to create the custom cologne. The exact formula is top secret, but it's rumored to have hints of lime, verbena and grass, presumably reflecting the pontiff's love of nature.”

     Not to be outdone by the Pontiff, Father John Corapi, the deposed Roman Catholic priest involved in numerous church scandals including sexual harassment, has reportedly come out with his own cologne, too.  Called, not surprisingly, CORAPI, it is rumored to have hints of passion fruit, rag weed, brimstone and rarefied mustang smegma.

   It is also reported that the Vatican has had no comment on the potential clash of fashion interests, but the  Society for the Cologne and Perfume Allergy Victims International, has censored both Pope Benedict and Father John Corapi.  "There nothing worse than to be a victim of someone else's invasion of your privacy by their smell-um.  It's like when someone pulls up next to your car at a streetlight with their music pulsating so hard that it rattles your fenders.  It offends," said  Carrie Mikayse Ford the SCPAVI's president.

    Doberman owners Gilda Netter of Huntsville, Alabama and her boyfriend, Peter Munscher have crossed a new threshold.  “Fritz was the smartest dog we have ever seen, but getting him to carry his own poop to the trash took forever to accomplish,” said Munscher.

     Netter agreed.  “It was nothing to get him to sit, lay down, heel and fetch, but dogs don’t naturally pick up their own poop.  He house trained very easily which gave us some indication of his intelligence level, but then moving him from dropping the poop in one place, watching him scrub his back paws against the grass, but return  to pick up the poop in his mouth, then carry it to the trash can and drop it in followed by going to his special water bowl to rinse out his mouth was the accomplishment that put him in an entirely different league,” said Netter who admits that she doesn't like it when Fritz licks her face.

     According to Dr. Flavius Z.  Puutz the dog’s veterinarian “this is what made him an instant focal point for Guinness and Ripley’s.  I tried to buy the dog from Gilda and Peter so that I could patent the training process and put him on The Dog Whisperer….maybe even go into business with Cesar Millan, but they wouldn’t sell him to me.  I had told them about the phenomenal work of the Nazi’s in training dogs for unbelievable tasks including attempts at getting them to talk, but getting them to pick up their own poop is even better,” said Puutz.  "I think that if Fritz could now be made to talk all he would say is 'oh shit, not again,'" said Puutz.

     Netter, Munscher and Puutz would not talk about the routines used to train Fritz, but a source close to Dr. Puutz said that they had good results in desensitizing Fritz to the smell of the excrement by locking him in a room with a television tuned to either “The View”, “Bill Maher” or “The Bachelor”.

Hamming It Up Reveals Nothing

     If you are not old enough to have lived through the Civil Rights Movement of the 60’s or somehow you missed the documentaries or movies like Mississippi Burning, the daughter of Nancy Pelosi, Alexandra Pelosi, has teamed-up with comedian Bill Maher to provide a travel log of Mississippi backwoods citizens to help bring you up to date.  A visual journal of what might also have been a walk through a Confederate solidiers’ nursing home in 1915, the Pelosi film shows an array of gap-toothed and toothless Southerners who lament the lack of family values, Obama care….which many of them could use if only it had dental coverage….and lamentations about the defeat of the South in the Civil War and a promise to “rise again”.

    Actor Jon Hamm whose work on the AMC series Mad Men, chronicles the more sophisticated rape and pillaging of the entire U.S. and world by the psycho-maneuvering of Madison Avenue’s hucksters and spin-meisters, notes that hope breathes eternal in these poor ignorant slobs with a vision of success that is always just around the corner.

     Comedians are funny.  Depth of insight is not.  According to Dr. Ford Forbes Cushing Delano, of the Institute for Historical Deception, the South was settled by poor folks.  Georgia, was settled by the unwashed debtors of the British homeland which simply expelled them to a place where they could live on nothing more than hope and a hunting knife.  As the addictive qualities of tobacco, rum from sugar cane, and the essentials for cloth weaving made the mills of industrialized England and the factories of the North wealthy, the poor of the South were joined, often by the design of the railroad and other barons of the industrialized North, by slaves from Africa.

    During the Civil War which Maher and Pelosi believes defines the South, citizens of Boston, Philadelphia, New York and other Northern cities remained virtually untouched while the newest and finest fashions paraded around Copley Square and Central Park like peacocks strutting in a king's courtyard.  Meanwhile, Boston's poorest Irish were shipped South to fight for the flat rail route that the North's rail road barons hoped would cross the continent.  They fought, however, under the high moral banner of Abolition, then returned not to Boston, but to the wilds of the Rocky Mountain frontier to link up the Northern rail route of E.H Harriman and LeLand Stanford's Union and Central Pacific railroads when the Southern route proved, even with the leverage of Reconstruction, too difficult to appropriate from the beaten but tenacious Southerners. After the war there was an attempt to fire bomb New York City, not unlike the attack of 911, but not by Saudi Arabians, but by defeated Southerners. Following Sherman's brutal tactic of shock and awe...the burning of Atlanta and his march to the sea where ever hopeful Southern power elites, the cream of the unwashed crop, had envisioned the beginning of their own rail route to the Pacific.  Some saw Wall Street and New York, formerly New Amsterdam....a name that ironically reveals its ties to one of world's leading supporters of the slave trade, the Dutch, as the turbine that powered off-the-chart industrialized brutality and worthy of a fine fire torching.  Company owned slaves laid out the foundation of modern New York.  Slaves built its fortifications. Slaves had shown future immigrants how to feed themselves off the land. 
     "The South's shortsightedness was in not seeing themselves in the same boat as the slaves. That is what Spartacus had done in uniting all the slaves of ancient Italy collected as they had been from the far reaches of the Roman Empire.  Had Southern whites and blacks preempted John Brown and joined together marching North, history would be much different," said Dr. Delano who suggests that Gary Webb's book Dark Alliance shows that 150 years following Emancipation, inner city blacks are still enslaved.  "Do you think Ms. Pelosi's next film will tell the truth about that?" asked Delano.

    According to Dr. Delano, “Even the famous abolitionist John Brown, remains in our great American myth unconnected from Alexander Brown of Baltimore, progenitor of Brown Brothers Harriman, with his connection to the factories and tenements of Liverpool in England and to the Tafts, Russells, Cushings, Forbes, Peabodys, Roosevelts, Cabots, Lodges, Harrimans, Dulles…even the Kennedy’s, but without their full acceptance into the dominant Protestant class.  These America power elites controlled the power resources of the New World and the shipping lanes linking the Orient to California, the rails to the East Coast and the shipping lanes to Europe.  It was a monopoly that not even the Sherman Anti-Trust laws would dismantle.  How could they?  Those laws went after restricted legal trade and declared it illegal, not after the elite's hidden criminal enterprise that legislated it. "RICO did that, but how do you use RICO laws against your own government?" asked Delano.
     Delano asserts that John Brown’s secret backer was George Luther Stearns who was working with his Boston Brahman friends to control the lead….as in bullets….market. The Civil War may have cost 600,000 American lives but the American power elites prospered.   Among them were chosen Southerners....Jefferson Davis who laid out the Southern rail road route for the Northern rail road and transportation robber barons, Boston's Caleb Cushing who negotiated the first U.S. trade laws with China....a virtual replication of the British trade practices that would eventually lead to a Chinese Cultural Revolution, among them.  Jefferson Davis, following his talks with Cushing, appointed monarchist and Scottish Rite Mason, Albert Pike, whose first American SR Temple was in  Savannah, the eastern terminus of the Southern rail route,  as agent to the Indians whose land they needed, too.  The leading legal mind for the SR and KKK, a Roman Catholic with Tory sentiments and a Grand Dragon of the KKK, Pike's followers did not include the founder of the KKK, Nathan Bedford Forrest.  Forrest, a Colonel whose threat to put Confederate General Braxton Bragg into a quick and torpid retirement for what Forrest perceived as treason would call for the abolition of his own KKK by 1869, a point confirmed by Civil War historians Ken Burns and Shelby Foote.  Perhaps Forrest assessed as he had with Bragg that the Northern power elites through Pike and his followers had kidnapped the Klan as Bragg had Forrest's best efforts.   Later, Pike would unite with the Italian wing of the SR brotherhood in New Orleans, followers of Guisseppe Mazzini, progenitor of the Italian Mafia.
     In the Academy Award winning film, Gladiator, Caesar laments the corruption that has moved the Roman Empire from a leading Republic to a crumbling image of its former self.  "Will I be known as the philosopher, the warrior, the tyrant? Or will I be the emperor who gave Rome back to her true self?  There was once a dream that was Rome.  You only whisper it.  Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish.  It was so fragile and I fear it will not survive the winter."
     The American experiment is not fragile.  "Democracy is ordained," said Karl Barth,  but neither does it belong to the power elites who ride the backs of the democracy loving citizens who have won wars against the angered actions and reactions of other nation's often misguided power elites.  Pike and Mazzini's alliance is an old game.
     It was a brilliantly sinister propaganda ploy.  Most Americans were led to believe that there was something wholesome about the Scottish connections to freedom, liberty and equality like Mel Gibson's image in Braveheart before we learned that his father was a neo-Nazi and that Mel threatened women or that his controversial passion play was handled by Regal Cinemas owned by UTIMCO, the University of Texas' privatized endowment program in a state whose underworld is known to be controlled by the New Orleans syndicate.  Pike, like Gibson a Roman Catholic, is believed by many not to be eligible for Catholic Church membership based on a prohibition against Masonry.  Not so.   Even Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather myth which shows the Italian Mafia entering the U.S. primarily through New York City misses entirely this connection between Pike and Mazzini whose worship of Machiavellian, monarchical and pyramidal power structures flies in the face of the U.S. Constitution of "We the people".
     Perhaps famous U.S. Senate Chaplain and American Scotsman, Dr. Peter Marshall, was unaware when he was made an honorary member of the SR in Washington D.C. in 1942, that his acceptance of the honor would have had the anti-monarchical Scotsman, John Knox, squirrel-caging in his casket as he assessed the real values of Albert Pike and his friends.
      Nathan Bedford Forrest's picture is the only one hanging in Civil War historian Shelby Foote's Memphis, Tennessee office, presumably because of qualities not shared by any other Southern General including Robert E. Lee. General Braxton Bragg's buffoonery was far too recurrent to have been anything but subversion from Bragg's Southern river-opening losses at Fort Pillow and Donaldson to his place near the sinking of the Albemarle which elevated William Cushing as the first U.S. Navy SEAL.   Indeed, Bragg's ancestor, C. Wright Mills, the radical sociologist at Columbia University would write about America's hidden realities in his landmark book, The Power Elite, pulling back the veil, though certainly not as far back as the Pentagon Papers or WikiLeaks, on the whole charade.
     "It would also be fitting that in 1997 the University of Arkansas Press, the state where Albert Pike was Grand Dragon of the KKK, would release Walter Lee Brown's, The Life of Albert Pike, which smears General N.B. Forrest, a man who as a slave owner was reportedly watched over as he slept by a cadre of black body guards. Walter Lee Brown,  Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Arkansas, denies Forrest's connections to the Klan he founded, thus discounting Forrest's departure from it,  from Pike and from the SR Masons whose Tory and monarchical beginnings significantly departed from the Free Masonry of the Founding Fathers....Washington, Franklin and the others.  Instead, Pike sought out among the elites of Georgia, Arkansas, Texas and other regions the pro-monarchist, pyramidal, Tory sentiments through which to concentrate power and redirect the American vision of its own destiny," said Delano. "Pike's SR Masons were like misguided semi-religious Protestant, Catholic and Anglican Royalist boot-lickers pushing the right wing of the Federalist Party right into Crypto-Nazi, Druid-dribbling, war-mongering, filibustering-Walker-Burr-ish, voo-doo-ish, prayer parties," Delano summarized.

     The victors, however in-ignoble, write the history and they leave out the real motive behind the power grab.  The Southern rail route to the Pacific across the flatter terrain of the Great Southwest would speed their program for getting their trains and New England built ships to the Orient...the same destination sought by Columbus.  Abolitionist John Brown came from a family of New England ship builders supplying the lucrative China Trade. Across the Pacific lay what made Britain powerful...the British East India Company's lucrative China Trade...taken over by the new power, the U.S.….with its booty of silk for making the poor Southerners’ coarse cotton into fine fabrics suitable for the American and European power elites. There was something else, too, ....something infinitely more desirable, dependable as a source of wealth and power and virtually irresistible.”

     Dr. Delano believes that silk and tea were the “legitimate top of the table”.  “Cotton beat fig leaves or buckskin and silk-cotton blends beat cotton in the fashion marketplace.”  But there was an even more important motivator, the addictive underbelly.  Opium.  This first cousin of tobacco and booze was tightly controlled by the U.S. power elites through their minions in Washington D.C., though the Brown and Williamson Tobacco company could not stamp this product with its name.
     "The Southern transcontinental rail route was long a dream of America's power elites.  Tennessean Davy Crockett high-tailed it to Texas to help Stephen F. Austin, son of Moses Austin, the Missouri and Tennessee lead-miner, find more of the stuff when the Missouri lead mines played out….more bullets for Bostonian George Luther Stearns’ kind. Meanwhile, they found the biggest sulphur deposit in the Western Hemisphere, a sulphur dome near Freeport, Texas which will supply gun powder to this day as it did during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Vietnam War, Korean War, World War II, World War I, the Spanish-American War and every other American conflict since its discovery.  Henry Kissinger will serve on the board of the sulphur's controlling company, Freeport-McMoran.  There’s money in the bullets, lead and guns needed to fight the scam drug wars,” said Delano who also sees a continuity of relationship with President and Mrs. Obama and Obama's endorsement of every major Bush position since his taking office.
     "Silas Lynch.  You have to remember that Abraham Lincoln was a big-time railroad lawyer, that the railroad barons' agenda colored everything and that the Springfield, Illinois law firm of Sidley and Austin handled Lincoln's wife affairs.  Sidley and Austin are hardly a Democratic law firm for which Michele Robinson Obama worked as a lawyer.  Sidley and Austin merged with Brown and Wood, a New York law firm housed at the World Trade Center on 911 where George Herbert Walker Bush's son, Marvin P. Bush, also on the Board of the NCAA, worked for the security firm in charge of the towers on the day of the attack.  Prescott Bush, Marvin's grandfather, was Vice-President at W. Averell Harriman and Company.  Craig Robinson, the First Lady's brother was the head basketball coach at Brown University with its direct ties to Alexander Brown and Brown Brother Harriman," Delano continued noting that President Obama did not just rise to his position without substantial connections within this galaxy of dark power resources.  "I read that Obama's favorite mixed drink is Scotch and claret wine, the favorite drink of Mr. Brown, the butler to Queen Victoria of England who introduce the Queen Mother to the same unusual concoction," said Delano noting the long-standing cross-Atlantic relationships between American and British power elites whose wealth is historically rooted in the same China trade.

     According to Delano, the U.S. power elites were never disconnected from the elites of Europe and other regions contriving new ways to enslave and imprison.  “Today we are in the oil rich and poppy rich region of the Middle East and Orient because of the opium, a drug with incredible legitimate and illegitimate uses as exploited by pharmacist and artillery master during the Civil War, Eli Lilly.  Whether the drugs deaden the pain of one's hum-drum life or jack you up to feeling like you're the king of your ghetto-existence, whoever controls the flow is the new Pharaoh. Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan and India provided the raw product and it is distributed world-wide by the same power elites….my own people who guard it like a pit bulldog,” said Dr. Delano who notes that the Gulf of Tonkin affair that triggered the Vietnam War was really a grab at Indo-China's poppy producing region that provided local supplies of the drug in the Golden Triangle.  Col. Bo Gritz, the most decorated Marine in Vietnam has spoken widely and openly of this truth while sons of leading American military industrialists like Jim Morrison of The Doors whose father was the Admiral in charge of the Gulf of Tonkin affair and William Ayers of Chicago, Obama's friend and son of one of the Mid-West's most connected industrialists, played out Oedipal reactions to their father's puppetry.  “Is it any wonder that people having to defend this crock of lies go off the deep end and become a maniacal killer as with the killing of 16 Afghanistan civilians or that men like Pat Tillman or Col. Theodore Westhusing or even like General Smedley Darlington Butler before them are silenced?  We are fortunate that Butler's book War Is A Racket and books like Col. Daniel Martin's The Expendible Elite were published against great opposition, that Tillman is not forgotten and that Westhusing's real story got out in Christian T. Miller's Blood Money, but were you introduced to Butler's book in high school or college...Butler being a two-time Medal of Honor winner?  Will our public school curriculum tell us after we have discovered that 99.9% of human genetics are identical, that the most racist programs, like Mrs. Harriman's Cold Spring Harbor eugenics studies, were not the product of poor Southerners, but Northern elitists and according to author of War Against the Weak, Edwin Black, fueled the Nazi worldview?”

   I asked Dr. Delano if he watched Ms. Pelosi’s film on the Bill Maher program.  “No,” he said, “But unless and until Ms. Pelosi walks with her camera into the homes of some of America’s nicest, wealthiest families….all picture perfect teeth and smiles….and pulls back the facade, you don’t know shit,” he concluded.

     Kim Kardashian's reality show is not Mad Men's star, Jon Hamm's, cup of tea.  Hamm believes that the current contribution of today's reality television to American culture is to less than zero. 
     Felix Ferbolimine of the Television Critics Group, or TCG, says that Hamm is more on target than a slab of Kosher bacon if there was such a thing.  "If you could find Kosher bacon, Jon's assessment would go with it like a couple of fried eggs from a Samuel Cohen Levi chicken....whatever that is.  Jon Hamm knows through his work on Mad Men what a blithering cabararet of deceptions, snake oil concoctions and twisted psychological machinations the whole television, advertising and entertainment industry really is...which is why he trys to get away from it by not Tweeting or social media networking," said Ferbolimine whose father was the world's leading recycler of used cigarette tobacco.

Resonating Hum Is Half Step Between B and C

     Every piano student knows that there is no half step between the notes of B and C and E and F on the musical scale.  There is no B sharp or C flat.  B sharp is C and C flat is B.  Period.  No half step.  Scientists at the Center for Galactic Harmonic Resonance have determined that the Big Bang's constant hum that provides the background noise for the beginning of creation is half way between B and C on the musical scale.
     "That being the case," said Dr. Winthrop P. Sardonisis, "all music no matter how melodious to our ears, is out of sync with the universe."
     Sardonisis said that whoever came up with the current universal scale and tuning benchmark, may or may not have known that their pitch was off by 1/2 step thus throwing all music in the world off kilter.  "There are some primitive groups which have maintained the true galactic pitch on their reed flutes, bamboo wood blocks and leather headed drums, but these are groups that have not yet been exposed to a modern tuning fork," said Sardonisis.
     When asked what this means for the human soul and psyche Sardonisis said "it means that every piece of music since the invention of the tuning fork from love song to dirges, classical music to rock and roll, hillbilly blues to hip hop, grates against the universe.  Music designed to trigger extreme dissonance in the human mood, is infinitely more dissonant and soothing lullabies are like a cat's claws sliding down a blackboard against the galactic hum."
    Sardonisis believes that the shift in the true pitch may have occurred when the first metal tuning forks were invented.  "The early forerunners of the metallurgists who made the tuning forks were also sword makers.  Harmony is not good for the sword business and they surely knew that sending people subconsciously into a constant state of  stressed out jittery anger and animosity would be much better for their war craft in the long run."
     Dr. Sardonisis believes that while the earth is not a perfect place and never will be a much higher degree of civility and harmony could be achieved by bringing the world's music into tune with the universe with what he calls the "B+/C- mantra".  His new company which has patent rights on the process of shifting all recorded music from the current tuning to what he calls BBH or Big Bang Harmonization is called simply Smooth Inc..  He claims that all recordings can be re-recorded using his technology to bring it into harmony with the universe.  "If Frank Sinatra had been singing in the mantra's hum, he would have probably not been a chronic smoker," said Sardonisis.  "Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin would still have had raspy voices, but the harmonic resonance of their music against the universe's hum would have given their performances a soothing effect and on songs like You Can Leave Your Hat On may have encouraged women to take their hats off, too," said Sardonisis.
     Sardonisis is attempting to prohibit any future music from being recorded in BBH harmonization without first paying Smooth Inc. a royalty.  Meanwhile, a tribe of indigenous flute players from Borneo calling themselves KiWiKey are claiming that they own all rights to the BBH harmonization benchmark and that as the earth's soul surviving "keepers of the true key" over thousands of years from the Stone Age through the Bronze and subsequent ages,  deserve to be compensated in perpetuity.
     Sardonisis is also commissioning a study into the relationship between famous musicians and instrument makers who are known to have been heavily invested in both tuning forks and sword and weapons production.  "I believe that even the 'pitch fork' used for ages to toss hay may have been a part of the public relations ploy to further this disharmony when in the Middle Ages there was a massive shift from calling it the 'toss fork' to the 'pitch fork'," said Sardonisis who believes that the surfs were also unknowing pawns in a growing world-wide militaristic complex of war mongers.  "Every time a father told his son to 'get busy with that pitch fork' the new tuning fork came to the boy's mind," said Sardonisis who also noted that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, was never painted holding a pitch fork.  "That new turning fork is, sadly, off key."
